Proportions, who cares if some parts are longer than it must be, of courese drawing figure is more important thatn proportions,.D
I DUNNO, maybe its just me or when it got resized sprite became small and some details gone or hardly seen,.
One more thing.
If you are making sprite with black outline, then how about effects make with outline?

i use photoshop, but generally u can use any graphic program for spriting, i mjust used to PS as i use it since the early start

Really nice mate, it looks so samiliar that on first sight I thought it was the normal dennis.
Shading on hair is really good, but on the rest of the body it is quite avreage but nice and clean.
