I don’t know if it’s the Calvin and Hobbes of it or the Shaun Tan-style city in the background but I really dig this.
I don’t dig the name though! I know I’m probably missing some kind of context and I’m probably just really lucky to live a short distance from an amazing city.
Where but cities do you find great museums? World-class libraries? Interesting streets full of adventure, extraordinary music and all the amazing people?
I get it isn’t that way for everyone. That for many the city is far more decayed Babylon than shining Arcadia.
But for me, even though I don’t live there, the city IS my home.
A sequence of variables thatre engraved since the beginning of the cosmos is responsible for animating things in reality
