Beast Theme

Well I saw this list of which animal suits each LF char in some other LF2 forum
and decided that I'd put my own list on here (Mythical Creatures included)

Deep - African Buffalo (a crazed beast of immense power, while usually slow moving it can be extremely fast at will)
John - Wolf (A lot of times associated with magic, witchcraft, even the devil himself)
Henry - Hawk (An animal befiting the marchman hunter, such as Henry)
Rudolf - Leopard (A master of stelth and quick killing)
Louis - Rhinoceros (You cant move him, just like you cant move the rhino and he pushes/gores)
Firen - Black Bear (The black Bear is a powerful beast and its black color reminds of the ashes that are left after a fire)
Freeze - Polar Bear (The Polar Bear is a cold hearted killer, just like Freeze's icy abilities)
Dennis - Kangaroo ( Swift, fast, agile and fights using his legs)
Woody - Tiger (Woody's orange color theme and his Tiger dash make him a perfect candiate for the tiger theme)
Davis - Gorilla (The Gorrila fights its kind in close combat using its massive limbs, just look Davis uses his mighty punch)
Bat - Bat (Makes sense doesn't it?)
LouisEx - The Phoenix (LouisEx returns from the ashes of Louis just like the Phoenix)
Firzen - Panda (Combination of Black and White colors on a bear, indicates the connection between Firen and Freeze according to their beast themes)
Julian - Dragon (A mythic beast that has been associated with the devil, Chaos and Tiamat the evil original goddess of Babylon)

Well this is my list, feel free to add your own lists, or chars to the list Ive written
and tell me what you think

Hehe, this idea reminds me a bit of a mod some guys were working on back in 2009 (and is surely dead nowadays): LF2 - The Animal Within.

I agree with most animals except for John; an owl sounds more fitting, in my opinion. A wolf might have too much power when comparing it to John

louis is an air controller, even he use an armor, so he shouldnt be rhino. Phoenix fits better to Louis/louisEX. Also john is far from wolf.

Firzen-dragon is a possible combination. a dragon who lives in a cold mountain and put out fire from his mouth. just like in Queen Island. We can identify queen island as firzen's background.

And probability Julian-gorilla. gorilla is huge,black and strong just like julian.

Actually, I have different opinion about Davis and Julian. For me, it's totally opposite.
Davis: Dragon >> Confident, good close combat (Dragon Warrior)
Julian: Gorilla >> Great strength and totally look like a monkey. I usually call him Monkey Boy. :P
John: yep, maybe an owl. Always waiting for the right time to strike.
As for others, some agreed, some are hard to explain.

Are you talking about my post? Here's my thoughts:
Deep - Rhino: A fat and dangerous beast. It can get very fast (Deep's dash-jumps cover his slow running)
John - Owl: It looks very smart and it was Harry Potter's pet.
Henry - Eagle or Hawk, doesn't really matter (Because Dragon is already taken)
Rudolf - I have 2 suggested in my topic: one is a snake, a loner animal who attack swiftly` and tow is chameleon, because it can disguise itself like Rudolf can disappear.
Louis and LouisEX - Phoenix who burns itself and then reborn.
Firen and Freeze (as suggested by another member) are fox and wolf, respectively. Firzen (again, suggested by the same member) is supposed to be their ancestor. What he found was the Falkland Islands Wolf.
Dennis - I agree with the kangaroom though I'd like to see what martial art he's using and what beast live there.
Woody - Tiger, too obvious.
Davis - Dragon, because of the Dragon Punk etc.

Firzen - see above
Julian - Devil, or any other satanic creature.

I wish someone would make sprites about them and will add a "Beast Form" to one of each char's skill.
