Resource Hacker problem
#1
Whenever I change something in lf2.exe with Resource Hacker and then save it, there are two exe files made in lf2 directory, lf2.exe and lf2_original.exe. The first one (lf2.exe) doesn't work while the second one (lf2_original.exe) is the old one. Lf2.exe doesn't work. Whenever I open it, it crashes.

Please anyone help me if you know the solution to solve this problem.
Thanks in advanced!

If you are using 2.0a, I believe I came across this problem before.

If your bitmap is bigger/smaller than the original one, the addresses will mess up and the exe will break.

Also, for whatever reason, when you replace a bunch of bitmaps multiple times, chances are that the exe will crash as well.

Use this software instead: http://melander.dk/reseditor/
It is simply better in every way, and might work. To me it feels more stable.

I had that software already. I had tried it but then also the same problem happens :(
