The man is Louis' father who wont be showing up alot.
The girl is sorcerer. (There is a lack of girls so yes. Because sorcerers in the game are hooded and their faces are hidden, she wont be recognizable as a girl at first.)

@Dan: Its not chibi, that's my actual anime style that's a work-in-process. Chibi's are super cute looking things with big eyes and tiny bodies. I want my style to look like these certain styles that i really like. They are slightly incorrect in anatomy, like long legs, but they look good lol. http://static.minitokyo.net/downloads/37/32/379137.jpg
And i can draw realism, etc. Anime is actually one of my weaker styles. That's why i draw it often - to improve.

before beginning of some "manga" better learn good proportions, because now its more like cartoon style, of course, that may be another lucky star.
but before being real wannabe you should get to know something more about japanese manga, because manga is different than comix, it need to be read in different order

And i do know manga. I've seen and read many of different genres. XD
I guess you can describe what i'm trying to do its combine styles. (??)
I am aware that these recent pictures are not my best work like, no. Just no.

As for writing, still connecting events together, thinking up minor events, etc.
I want to draw some random pages and fight scenes just to practice.
