Once again, I need spriting tips
#1
Time flew swiftly by. Maybe I become even dumb, or is there something I always miss. How do you make a sprites with perfect outline? My method: Create a transparent layer, sprite, fill the missing parts with a layer under it, merge to black background. But the outline isn't always good. When I'm talking great outline sprites, I mean like this:
This place motivates me to become an artist, this place motivates me to learn coding, this place made me grow up, showed me the ways to interact with people. Unlike the old childish of me myself, I've learned a lot and gotten some experiences. For me, it's not just a fan forum, it's a helpful community. From a noob to someone who would think before he speaks, looking back at my old post made me laugh hard, I'm grateful of the differences between these 2 years.

HMM, my technique for outlines is that i add the content in a new layer, -> blending options -> outer glow, make it normal, opacity 100, anti alias 0, and size 1px with color black.. best of luck
