The Tales of Jonny Ramon Scott - Chapter I
(08-12-2013, 10:56 PM)Alblaka Wrote:  Jonny easyly slips back into the room unnoticed. In the restroom he finds a small mug and a toothbrush. The mug would probably make a fine throwable object, albeit it's questionable whether it could effectively do more then distract someone with noise. Other then that and the various pieces of furniture, Jonny can't find anything that could serve as a makeshift weapon or tool.

Jonny then searches both rooms for something that he can use as a bag or backpack, as he doesn't plan on staying at this place for much longer.

Below the bed, Jonny find a small travelling bag. Upon second looks, it could probably be his own, somehow he had to get his clothes into this room, after all.

Nice, and now off to Odyssee!

Jonny takes a last look through the room and the restroom and decides to pack everything that could eventually come in handy on a long trip.

Jonny packs the toothbrush and the mug, some of his clothes and other smaller things he can find into his bag, ready to move out.

Jonny goes back to the door and slowly opens it to see if the 'maid' is still working on that door's lock.

Is there some way to have an always up-to-date character sheet with current status (aka HP, supplies, weight, items and so forth)? I know it's annoying to include it in every post, maybe you got a better idea...

Best I can do right now. Probably need to look into online sharing services for maps & character details

The maid is still standing in front or maybe rather leaning against the door in front of her, trying to fumble it open.

Yay for status!

Jonny silently slips through the door and sneaks into the direction opposite of where the 'maid' is trying to break open the door. He doesn't even bother to close the door behind him, as to make as few noises as possible. While sneaking, he closely listens if he hears movement behind him. Jonny tries to reach the end of the corridor to look around the corner.

The maid doesn't seem to notice Jonny at all and proceeds with her monotone door scratching. As he comes across the corner, he sees another floor, exactly the same as the previous one, running into a direction 90 degree off the previous one. His assumption about the square-ish shape of the building seems to confirm.
There are plenty of doors to either side of the corridor. As well, there's a maid's cleaning cart is standing somewhere along the wall of the floor. And he can spot a small pile of what appears to be clothes in the opposite corner of the floor, too.

Feeling his heart take a leap after being able to leave that ominous humanoid being out of sight, Jonny decides to keep practicing his sneaking skills a little simply by concentrating more on how he moves his feet and where he moves his feet onto, even (or especially) if nobody's around to sense him.
Jonny slowly moves towards the cleaning cart and examines it.

Yea I'd like to take up sneaking here if possible, or at least start developing the skill.

Sneaking Skill Aquired.

Whether his tries are successfull or not, nothing nearby seems to react to Jonny's presence, even when he accidentally steps against the cart, giving off an audible 'plonk'. The cart contains a mop, a few buckets, some rags, nothing extraordinary. It seems to perfectly fit into this place. Except for the fact the cart's most likely owner is further down the floor and not here.
