lol, the monks are quite easy, but can be annoying at times when multiple monks appear in a straight line.
about the knight, maybe make them stun-able when we manage to bounce off them.
and since bouncing off them seems doesnt seem to provide any score/bonus, i mostly just avoid them.

my best score so far for the newest version: 835 at 114 steps :p

edit:
found a bug, when henry is pulling the arrow, he can fall through platforms. so he can even fall through the first platform which you start with.

highscore update: 1325 at 45 steps Wut
done this by bouncing off multiple monks in a row, but failed when a knight was spawned directly above me.:'(

I wanted to not stop the animation in half, cause it looket awkward. Also it was sometimes annoying if u wanted to fire someone down, but your attack was stopped by a platform.
i know, what i mean is maybe add something that stops you from falling through the first platform only.
and a whole lot of knights spawned one after another is really darned :s cant squeeze scores out of them.

you sure? somehow i thought bandits are even more dangerous than monks. since you wouldnt get killed even if you touched the monks and they are sitting ducks. there for you to shoot or bounce.
i found it harder to combo-bounce bandits than monks...

yup, now they are hard to bounce on. the wind push is so strong that it becomes almost impossible to advance when there are a bunch of monks spawned in a row of tiny platforms. maybe monks are actually the ultimate enemies? lol

highscore for newest version: 980 at 88 steps
got killed by a triple "monk on small paltforms" combo

woohoo, new update! but even after i reached 127 steps, i didnt have the honor to meet jan.
edit: i met her. her eyes are so shiny~

anyway, the background and platforms somewhat didnt fit with the sprites of the characters imo.

and i got some ideas about friendly guys, since i think it is not fair as john is the only one to make an appearance(shield)
-after a friend helped you, they will cheer for you.

-rudolf: with a poof and some smoke, you gain temporal invisibility/invincibility.

-woody: teleports to the next enemy and kick them off the platform. will get knocked down himself if the next enemy is a knight.

-dennis: shoot a chase ball at the enemy.(similar to jan's chase)

wow, okay this is pretty cool :^
i gotta say i feel like a noob cause i could barley reach the knights but still i had a lot fun playing that game :)
would love to have it on my iPhone

and that is why i suggested to Gad about more lifes =3=
it also took me a while to get the feel of the game. and i often died trying to combo-bounce bandits.

umm, all those money charging games are...well, games.(im not sure about the type of file, exe maybe?:s)
but this, is a swf game. the only way i can think of charging money for this game is "you must pay before you can proceed to the download page".
but i would still hope this to be a free, great game like the original LF2.;)

Would be awesome if there are features like for example you unlock characters by reaching certain floors or killing a certain amount of enemies, and after that each characters have their own abilities, passive or active. The abilities with limited uses will probably have cooldown or are recharged every 50 floors or so.

For example Rudolf can be invisible (but you can still see him) and be unaffected by enemies for a while, Louis can endure an extra hit from enemies thanks to his armor, Davis can Dragon Punch (sort of like jumping but also kills enemies), etc.

(The game's really hard for me I can't reach any other enemies than Bandits, Monks and Knights so far)

its just such a good game to be abandoned...hope some coding expert will be willing to continue on this work...
i think this is quite awesome for now, but could have ended up EPIC if it gets completed.
