how to become a special member?

i've seen some people who got ,special member , vIP member etc. on them
and i kinda wanted to know how to become 1?:P
gotta donate some money or something like that?

There are the following groups:

• Administrator (can do anything, including messing around with the entire forum)
  
• Super Moderator (to keep all forums clean)
  
• Moderator (keeps his assigned forum clean)
  
• VIP Member (ex-mods / admins or people who have done major things for LFE)
  
• Advanced DCer (very skilled Data Changer)
  
• Misc. Groups (Fighter, Banned, Spammer)
  
• Registered (YOU!)

You cannot make yourself belong to a certain usergroup. An admin decides if you've qualified for any of these groups. So, don't start trying to advance into any other groups, it's the only choice of the forum staff.

well it would be cool if there would be an advanced spriter group...
but this is up to the staff, i think.

Before creating that group, we'll introduce the Support Team first. After that it might become useless to create any other of these groups. We'll see.....

Can you just disregard public appearance on forums and post for the post's sake?

This is one of the reasons why I like anonymous image/textboards, because the only thing that does exist is the post itself, contrary to for example phpbb3 or MyBB, where you have to deal with silly images, titles, ranks, statistics, reputation etc

It's kinda counterproductive in my eyes, but then again I do have a fairly strong view on this.

PS: Offtopic, yes... But didn't want the thread to be closed with people undermining spriters (even if it is by accident and no offence is meant).
PSS: I'm not saying we actually have to have a special forum group for "adv spriters", just that spriting shouldn't be looked down upon.
