If you ever study animation, there's this thing called "key-scene", meaning a basic scene, which depicts the most important thing happening, in this case - it would be the slicing of the blade and the rolling of Knight's head, - while adding additional frames to those key cut scenes... anyway, what I'm trying to say is your picture depicts the scene, which is something in the middle of two other scenes. I hope you get my point, I'm pretty drunk on chocolate liqueur.
