we are actually working on a new version of LF2
but it is not v2.0

Marti: actually, not a big change
just add background music
and add a "recording" feature
lfempire: so it's more a modification, but no new characters or so?
Marti: no new chars or moves

what will it be like?
Marti: a fighting game

lfempire: will we be able to modify this game, too?
Marti: not planned yet
probably not at the early stage

is created for a competition
we will post some goal in official website
and ask players to record their gameplay which achieves the goal
the player with the best "performance" wins
that's for 10 year anniversary of LF2

Marti: yup. but we are still working on the update.
may take a long time because we can only spend spare time to do that
the name is not yet decide

Hehe, Silva is working his butt off for an online feature-thingy, and Marti has decided to upgrade 1.9

This would be actually the first major upgrade of LF2 since I joined the community^^

Cool, this means all the time that the community thought that the source code as lost is a lie . Anyway I can't wait to see what turns out... Maybe more really small features like in 1.9c which can be abused (like the keyboard text thing ).

@YinYin: it was 2am at Martis place and he wanted to go to bad. I plan to contact him again and ask him about more stuff - like this... (and will post it here of course)
