John agreed with a slight nod, but secretly his regretting that he never asked for a clump of the bard's hair.

"Do you take for a fool, I do not think you burned his body at all. Two thugs couldn't quietly set a person on fire in a city, and do add to that I heard he was traveling with a whore with red hair. The women next to you looks like her and I doubt she would join after you burned a men infront of her."
He gives a signal for his men and they are slowly approaching you.

John bowed deeply and replied "Why would we burn the whole place down, my lord, as we can burnt him to his death in an alley to avoid chaos. I, who was quite skilled with bows, shot him with multiple flaming arrows from atop the roof."
And with a slight look at Lysa, he continued "As for her, my lord, is brought here from a distant land as a slave by the bard. So its only natural she will follow us, who saved her from slavery."

"Again do you take me for a fool. It would be easier to grab a man and just slit his throat or cut his tongue than to set a men a blaze. Guards take them down."

"Damn, you should have said we drowned him and made it look like an accident." grumbled John.
Drawing his daggers, he asked Lysa "Can you fight?"

@Elias: are the guards wearing armor? John will try to throw a dagger at the nearest guard's feet if its exposed

@v: i wouldnt throw it because of the armor. but still...

Weapon Proficiency: Dagger, short bow
Fighting style: Two Weapon, missile, thrown weapon

Well Nyamaiku daggers are not really a throwing weapon nor do you have a throwing proficiency so you will get extra penalties. The guards are wearing leather armor and armor works with helping you negate damage as in avoid (yeah I know weird but makes sense).
"Of course I can fight, all priest learn to fight."
@Nyamaiku: Well I'll let you throw but will be going through dex plus you only have one dagger so if you throw it then you wasted it.

I assume that John is attacking the same guy that Jeremy is attacking
Roll initiate: Party = 17, Enemy = 3. Enemy goes first.
Guard #1 strikes at Lysa 1d20 = 15 Hit, roll for damage 1d8 = 6. Lysa is down to 2 HP
Guard #2 strikes at John 1d20 = 7 Miss.
Jeremy strikes at Guard #1 1d20 = 12, roll for damage 1d8 = 6 + 1. Guard #1 is badly wounded.
Lysa cast Cure Light Wounds on her self 1d8 = 4. She is back to 6 HP.
John strikes at Guard #1 1d20 = 17, roll for damage 1d4 = 3. Guard #1 is grievously wounded.

The battle is still on going and you guys decide who to attack, also next time I'll try to add a visual to place where each one is at so it'll work better.
Make new targets if you want to or you want to do something special or just continue the same.
