The energy tail looks fine to me I think there's a bit too much shading on his backside though (the right of his back specifically). I could be wrong though, you're the expert when it comes to spriting haha\

Edit: oh, I totally forgot to respond to one of your questions... I think it's best if all 79x79 sprites for special moves would be put in one spritesheet. D>J sprites first, D^A sprites after that and new sprites after D^A would save me some work

I updated the data for Nino. It's on dropbox

- Made his D>J less long
- Added the flying kick to his D^A. Input is D^A+A
- The flying kick actually goes very well as a surprise attack. He could really use something similar for his D>J, that's for sure I made DvA an instant input for that flying kick, but that's just temporary... perhaps it can inspire you for a new D>J

I think that would be a great move for his D>J! Would work really well with his D^A as well.

I must say though, in the original Nino, D>J was kinda like his signature move... I'd love to give him at least one attack that involves a charging + melee attack as I really loved the charging with the powerful outburst. He really needs a similar move in my opinion.

So: how about we use DvA for a move where he goes in a special defensive stance with some less obvious charging (a minor glowing), and when someone tries to hit him, he does a short and powerful melee combo (with the glowing effect around him, eventually). You kinda have to lure the opponent into attacking you, so therefor the charging shouldn't be too diffirent from his normal defensive stance. Would it be possible to modify the defence sprites by having him defend with arms crossed and make a charging using the same sprite or something very similar?

The animation is looking good! The only thing I noticed is that the proportions aren't the same in every frame. Especially the size of his waist and one of his legs in the 4th sprite change a bit much.

I'm glad you got your tablet back! I hope you'll enjoy spriting even more now

Alright, I added you to the dropbox. I believe nino_extended.zip is the most complete file. It has very basic data for all the sprites that have been made so far. The data isn't final of course

Edit: Mono isn't in the dropbox yet. So could you please share your e-mail with us, Mono?
