apart from all that I wanna upgrade the sprites of the quick kick again.
After playing with nino some time now I'm not happy how it looks ingame.
Guess I'll make the energy bigger^^

Also the jumping sprites could be changed.

I changed it so often now. tryed out a lot and made it even worse(?)

Sorry for not mentioning this Arcane, but I definately think the flip kick should be in. It's an essential move for combos :)

As for the new energy effect, honestly, I think the previous one was better.

So we got the moves that Arcane mentioned, including the flipkick.

We still need a charging energy burst of some kind and a D>A. I think we should just go for a powerslide like the original version had, and make the moveset like this:

D>A ?
D>J Powerslide (+D^J = flying kick combo, +D^A = flip kick combo). Function: multiple character
DvA Triple kick. Function: combo starter & counter attack
D^A Flip kick. Function: combo continuer
D^J Flying kick, could be a two kick combination eventually. Function: combofinisher & surprise attack

We'll have a full moveset that way (if we decide what we're going to do for his D>A) :)

just uploaded the different body parts I'm using to dropbox.
They are all on 400% size.
Might help everyone when spriting Nino.

There isnt the ball attack concluded into the moveset u wrote down Memento

I realy liked the idea of the energy ball being combined with a dash attack as Ariel + Mono suggested


So whos going to do what now? :)

Well sure. I thought the attack would be too slow, but it might work just fine as long as the ball moves slowly and the dash is fast :)

We haven't made the flying kick yet. With flying kick, I meant the spin kick Arcane showed an animation of ^

How are we going to make the power dash work? What kind of ball and what kind of dash do you have in mind?

I think 2 weeks is more realistic, as Mono might not want to help (idk, maybe I'm wrong) and Arcane is also busy with studies.

first to frames I made him move the arms behind so he gathers energy/power for the backflip but it looks bit odd to me :(

Could be because he is going from arms lifted in base stance, to arms forward, to arms extended. I think it would be better if you'd skip the arms fordward part, and just have them behind the back from the beginning

Like this (maybe a little less exaggerated if you like that better, and the left arm is definately not right in this picture. But you get the idea)
