Well, your neck would break pretty fast, and you won't feel any pain below your head (if you survived for a few seconds)

I think, I have a new painful death... you are getting nourished, so that you never get hungry or thirsty... but during the whole time you are standing in water, and only your head is over the water. You know what happens if you stay too long under the shower? Your skin will swell. And now the same stuff just over a longer period of time... that can't be healty... or... if the water is replaced by a weak acid that dissociates your body very slowly...

erm, since I just have to cross one street on my daily walk to university I doubt, but maybe I get some acid stuff in my throat (during my practicum I got some concentrated hydrochlorid acid on my fingers - nice feeling *g*)

I agree probably with drowning...imagine panicking like crazy, running out of breath, running slowly out of oxygen, seeing the water surface far above you, and not being able to swim

I know its not a much painfull death but a very cool death xD
