I don‘t believe in plagiarism laws

There is a pretty big difference in not believing in a law and breaking it, and this forum pretty clearly has rules against plagiarism.

If it is a image freely available online at least credit that source.

All information – written, visual, etc. – should be free

Sure I believe in free information, but only with a reasonable definition of information. If you ask me art (novels, paintings, photos, movies, games) is not information, and if you disagree with some of those, then where do you draw the line and how do you suppose those working on it should make the money to actually work on it? Creating art isn't free.

The way I try to make information free is by freely providing it myself, and not by distributing others' work for free.

and the government arbitrarily stating something doesn‘t mean it‘s actually good/just for you: In fact, when has the state do something, which isn‘t for its own good/profit.

Free healthcare, free education, enforces laws against murder, protects freedom of speech, roads and other infrastructure, city planning. You can argue that this is in the governments interest as well but I don't care, because it sure as heck is also in my interest.

Speaking of HM, he draws the same poses, and is actually using designs from LF2 and DBZ, if not direct imitations from the latter‘s anime screenshots (I mean Vegeta), so how the heck is that not an infringement on the copyright laws? Like I said, everything is a copy of a copy...

For one thing if you are drawing a DBZ character no one thinks you made up that character yourself, hence it sure isn't plagiarism. No one knows that your images were essentially just filters applied to pictures others had already taken before they started looking for them, because you didn't point it out. Lastly DRAWING things actually takes effort whereas applying random filters doesn't, so even if it totally was plagiarism it would still be better.

Also I said plagiarism and copyright infringement because this discussion is about plagiarism and not copyright as a whole.

Speaking of mixing up pics, there‘s this thing called collage, a cut-up technique of images, which appeared, I think, with cubist movement, so it‘s a legit art technique.

But what you've made isn't a collage so it doesn't matter. A collage takes a LOT of images and makes a new image out of them, which takes planning and effort.

tl;dr: No one cares that you use something else as a base. They care about low effort work and not crediting whoever made what you used as a base.

As a safety measure for further discussion I feel it is important to step in now. I feel discussions regarding art (and plagiarism in this case) is a very common and natural phenomenon and I do not wish to discourage such discussions. However it is important to ultimately keep the tone of the discussion as neutral as possible and refrain from the lowest levels of discussion, which is not only unethical but is also against the rules of this forum. Please keep this in mind and also consider whether a new thread might be needed (up to the OP of this thread, if he minds the clutter or no). If that does not sound like something you would be able to submit to then it is better to move this discussion somewhere else - private messaging might be an option.

Boy... you'd guys would be surprised how much time and effort i put playing around with filters and layering them over and over until i am satisfied. It makes me perspire just thinking about it

And, as i logged in to post my work,only to clear the ''unread post'' i see some long heat going around.after reading all the posts,i personally agree with the previous 9 posts,
I pity this fellow,BUT let him catch some breath before he passout.
On the other hand,i dont really use the word,but why did he lied us for years.(jus fr name..)
i couldn't believe we felt for it.
I say he's in some deep sh trouble.
