Chapter Nineteen

The evening had all but vanished and the sky was now covered with night. A waxing crescent looked down upon the land with its golden glow ridding some areas of the darkness. The land was quiet but there was a small commotion coming from the cliffs in Stageland.
“I am VG Kitten Aeris, the 13th Zone’s 3rd in Command.”
Blue-Phoenix stood at the ready, ice sword in hand, preparing for anything from his adversary.
“We don’t have to do this you know,” Blue-Phoenix pleaded.
“Is that so?” Aeris replied. “Well I disagree. One of yours has taken a life of one of ours, so your life will be payment enough. Now prepare to die!”
Aeris extended her claws and charged at Blue-Phoenix at full speed. The 3rd in Command of the 13th Zone swiped wildly at Blue who kept his guard up blocking and evading with his ice sword. BP stumbled and Aeris capitalized on his fault by back kicking him sending him flying off the cliff.
“Dammit!” Blue-Phoenix yelled as he went over the cliff.
Aeris retracted her finger claws as she looked over the cliff. There was no sign of him so she assumed that he fell into the forest below.
“It was fun while it lasted,” VG said. “Goodbye, Blue-Phoenix.”
As VG grabbed her cloak and walked off below the edge of the cliff, Blue-Phoenix held on to an extension that was out of Aeris’s eyesight. He held on until he was sure VG was gone and climbed back to the top.
Catching his breath, he began thinking hard. “Dammit, why did I let her get away? This is not good. I have to stop them before it’s too late!”

Back at the Eastern Defensive Wall of the Empire, Pott stood alone while everyone was asleep below in the quarters. Alec came up and decided to join him on his watch.
“It’s been awhile,” Alec said. “I thought that this war was going to be the end of us all.”
“I thought the same,” Pott replied. “And yet I feel as if it is not over. You are aware that there have been rumors of a 13th Zone attack, right?”
“Yeah,” Alec said. “Zanshin told us when they came to the castle. Is that true?”
“We are not sure,” Pott answered. “But Zanshin got reports from one of our recon soldiers who were infiltrating the red zones.”
“Red zone missions are highly dangerous,” Alec said. “It’s a good thing he came back alive.”
“He came back,” Pott began, “But he died the next morning. It appeared that he had been poisoned by some unknown ailment.”
“I see,” Alec said growing a cold shoulder. “Well, that sucks.”
“Indeed it does,” Pott agreed,
“Alright Pott,” Jusa came up to the top of the wall. “It’s time for me to take your place in lookout.”
“Great,” Pott said extending his arms and yawning, “I could use some rest. Come along Alec. Jusa has it all under control up here.”
“Alright then,” Alec said. “I hope there’s some more drumsticks left over.”
“You’re hungry again?” Pott asked.

“So what are we to do now?” Robo asked MH who was staring at the night sky.
MH turned and faced Robo. “I think we’re going to have to hold off on rebuilding this castle for now. Sonidow may be out of the picture, but there are Dark Rebellion members still out there and we don’t know if or when they will strike again. There’s also this issue of a possible attack from the 13th Zone.”
“You’re right,” Robo said.
“So what’s our next move?” Drahcir said walking towards the two with Haywire behind him.
“We split up,” MH said. “Robo, you and Haywire will go to Ancuril. But you must lay low. No one must know that you are alive lest any of our enemies find out. Drahcir and I will be venturing off to the west.”
“What?!” Drahcir exclaimed. “Why are we going to the west?”
“There is a certain someone that we must seek out,” MH explained. “He's an Indian who lives in the mountains far out to the west. He has exceptional medicinal skills and we will need him for the events to come.”
“You know something don’t you?” Robo pried. “What do you mean ‘for the events to come’?”
MH knew that Robo had been suspecting something for the longest so he asked. “You are aware of the ruler of the 13th Zone, correct?”
“Yes,” Robo answered. “His name his Harlequin if I’m not mistaken.”
“You’re right,” MH began. “Blue-Phoenix has been secretly conspiring with Harlequin. I had someone watching him and I realized that he plans on handing the Empire over to the 13th Zone.”
“Is that true?” Robo asked.
“It has to be,” MH said, “Why else would he go to Stageland? That area is neutral and sits right in between our land and the red zones. We have no jurisdiction and neither do they, but that doesn’t mean either of us cannot enter the land.”
“So what is to be done about Blue-Phoenix?” Haywire asked.
“Send me after him,” Drahcir said. “I have to settle a score with him anyway.”
“No Drahcir,” MH said. “You’re too valuable of an ally to be sent into unknown territory. You must come with me to the west.”
“What for?” Drahcir asked. “Ever since I have landed on this planet I have lost everything that I considered valuable to me! What good is it going to do me going to the west to see some Indian anyway?”
“Do you miss your brother?” MH asked.
Drahcir’s words were tangled. “Y-yes.”
“Do you want to see him again?” MH asked.
“Yes, I’d give anything,” Drahcir said.
“Then you will come with me,” MH replied. “Alright?”
Drahcir nodded his head.
“Alright everyone,” MH said. “Let’s move out. We will meet again when the time is right.”
“Very well,” Robo said.
“Take care you all,” Haywire said.
“We will,” MH said.
And in an instant, the four shout out into their directions.

Noir and Azriel walked through the deep forests of Stageland. While they were walking, Noir had formulated some questions to ask.
“What do you do if you lose all of your cards?” Noir asked.
“I never lose any of my cards,” Azriel corrected. “They all come back to me. Even if they explode, they remain intact and come back to me. So I never have to make new ones. That’s what makes them unique.”
“Very interesting,” Noir said.
“Besides there’s…”
Azriel was stopped short as Noir had noticed that something was wrong in the forest.
“What’s the matter?” Azriel asked.
“We are being followed,” Noir answered.
“Are we now?” Azriel said and without another moment’s notice, he flung a red card to his right which thudded into a tree and instantly blew it up. Several soldiers that were hiding behind it had been propelled into the air by the explosion.
“We have some uninvited guests!” One of the soldiers, most likely a captain, shouted. “KILL THEM BOTH!”
“This out to be fun,” Azriel said.
“I agree,” Noir said drawing his double-bladed sword.
The two Dark Rebellion members prepared themselves for battle against their unknown adversaries.

I wonder who the two "unknown people" is. (i can however guess, there was two people who ran away XD)

Oh there will be a season 3. However it will not continue in the name of G4F Chronicles. As far as it coming out, it's going to be a while. I'm gonna need a break after this. XD

It's important to make sure that the story is clear to the viewer. One misplaced word could change an entire sentence.
You guys should write the stories in a word processor like MS or whatever you have first before posting them here in the forum. Word may not correct all the mistakes but that's also for you to reread your story.
