[solved] Injured Teleportation
#11
that's coz it'll react on teammates.
dang didn't think of that. if a teammate hits u, that'll cause the thing to happen as well. i don't see a way around it. (at least not for freeze)

what happenedd if you tried to make an ik3 function instead of using ik8? although this means affecting the other player, if it were a a ball, it might not react is it?

Ok, I get your idea fully now, Azriel :D. But just two more questions.

1) Which injured frame does the 'fire' and 'ice' frame go to when they are hit?

2) Instead of having an opointing frame after the 'stick' frame, why don't you just have a frame that has a body positioned underground instead that will hit the itr/kind 8 (in Freeze's and Firen's injured frame)?

By the way, @ DubbleD, the way that you posted was my original way/idea of going about this move (if only you had read my 3rd post :( ). I had a sensor ball around freeze during his ice frame that when hit will spawn a itr/kind 3 catch ball at y: 500 (or underground) that will bring Freeze to the teleport frame. Freeze has a body positioned at y: 500 also so that the itr/kind 3 catch ball would catch it. However, Azriel's idea is much better, even though teammate's can hit you and make you teleport and my original idea doesn't contain that bug.

Actually, here was the video for my original idea:

Ok, this problem is almost solved. All I need to know is the exact frame number of the injured frame that comes after the 'ice' frame. Can someone please help me with this? Or did Azriel mean also in his explanation that I have to change the state number from '13' (standard ice state) to something like '15' or '3' and then edit all the injured frames?

find out the injured frames. there's more than one depending whether you're hit from the front/back, also the number of fall points from the attack, and of course, whether it's normal, fire, or ice.

Would it be easier just to put the itr/kind 8 on all injured frames? That way I can eliminate the guessing, and it wouldn't screw up the move because the itr/kind 8 would be at a location unique to the stick-ball from the 'ice' frame.

EDIT: Actually never mind. Problem/topic solved (finally)! :D
EDIT2: Ok, sorry for "unsolving" the topic, but I don't want to start a new one just to continue this question. I'm starting to run into some bugs now that I'm testing this out.

Again, sorry for "unsolving" the topic, but I don't want to start a new one just to continue this same question. I'm starting to run into some bugs now that I'm testing this out.

Here are the problems:

1) I can't seem to dvx: back to the same frame. I don't think itr/kind 8 frames can do that. When I dvx to another frame it's fine, but if it's back to the same frame it doesn't work

2) I can't seem to find the correct injured frame. I tried both the opointing frame that Azriel mentioned and my altered version of replacing the opointing frame with another frame with a body tag, but neither works. I think the problem is that Freeze, Firen (or any other character) doesn't enter an injured frame after being hit in burning/frozen state. They seem to go directly into a falling frame. I don't know if this is true, but I put the itr/kind 8 in the correct location for all injured frames, but they still don't seem to contact with the body.
