Just answer: Which program do you often use to do the spriting? Also give some reasons.

MSpaint, PhotoFiltre coz they are not hard to use, especially MSpaint. It's the most basic graphic program to spriting.

Adobe Photoshop :)

I think, it's one of the best programs, but it's very hard.

Sometimes I use Flash :)

And I think, Gimp is also good ;) Yes, and it's freeware!

well, sure photoshop is the best, but it's very hard to use.

I often use Adobe Painshop Pro 8, Animation Shop and Paint

I don'T sprite much.

Only recolouring and for that purpouse Photofiltre rocks ^^

Adobe also supports machosists by making programms like Painshop.

Anyways, I use Corel Photo Paint 11.
It has pretty much every feature you need for photo editing and spriting. Much like Photoshop, only that it costs just 25$
