Legend of Valkyrie (D&D)
#61
Scythe, puts his crossbow aside and with lightning reflexes (:D), attacks bugbearM(1) with his dagger.
If at first you don't succeed, you're probably not going skydiving again.

With the upraised longsword Raideen rapidly charges at one of the Morningstar Bugbears, taking him by surprise. His swing hits him with full force. Still, the bugbear quickly recovers from the blow and counters with a heavy growl. Raideen isn't fast enough to evade; he gets slightly wounded by the morningstar.

Hastily he decides to attack the bugbear in front of him again.

(( Can't we have something like a hit point list so we don't always need to check the stats?? :p Oh well I guess it would interfere with something... ))

Hearth flinches slightly at the injury to his arm, but quickly turns around to retaliate against the bugbear that attacked him. "Not going to die from something like this."

(South 4, Stunning Fist attack against that Bugbear. Dodge against the same, but if he dies or is stunned, dodge to the next closest one instead.)

Sonidow slashes the bugbear upwards, spilling blood. "One down, a lot to go." He dashes right and attacks Bugbear (M)1.

(( Power attack: -2 to attack rolls, +4 to damage.
Declaring dodge feat to Bugbear (M)1! +1 to AC! (Those who have the dodge feat have to declare which enemy they're using it agaisnt.)
Sadbhav: lightning reflexes feat gives you a +2 bonus to reflex saves, it doesn't have anything to do with guarding/drawing weapons. You've used a move action to guard your crossbow and another move action to draw your dagger. You can't attack.
And I suggest you buy some armor in the next town.
@Ramond: I've editted my post with HPs. ))

And the only thing that you still heard from Gilbert was his
Bash, bash, bash these Bugbears!
Kick 'em in the butt, kick 'em in the butt!
Cut 'em off their ears, ears, ears!
And make their mouths shut, make their mouths shut!"

Drahcir slashed at one of the bugbears with his halberd, then attempted to block two hits from bugbears, failing both.
((If possible, I'll use 2 standard actions and no move actions--attack bugbears J4 and M5, in which case the following applies))
Enraged, Drahcir chopped at one of the bugbears near him, and stabbed at the other with his halberd.
((Otherwise, I'll draw my longsword and attack Bugbear J4)
Drahcir drew his longsword and, with all his strength, brought it down on a bugbear's head.

(( Your base attack bonus doesn't allow more than 1 attack right now, since you don't have any feats that allow it and no spells that allow it, can't use two attacks.
Also, you need to guard your halberd and draw your longsword, which would be 2 move actions and you can't attack then. If you drop your halberd, yes, but remember bugbears could try to get it. You're wearing a shield, keep that in mind. Can't hold 2 weapons at once. ))

Pell stepped away from one of the Bugbears attacking him, and lunged against the bugbear quiet as death.

((Move Action: Top right
((Regular Action: Attack Bugbear (M)3))
