I wonder...can I draw out my dagger and attack without putting away the crossbow? If I can then I will do so

Completing his spell, two bolts of pure energy leaved Alblaka's hands, hitting one of the evil bugbears into his chest. But besides a shot stumble backwards, there was no real effect and Pell was still under attack. Alblaka thought about preparing another spell, but noticed the wide spread of the group. Damn it... We are completely uncovered. A quick look around confirmed his sentence: both, to his left and his right sides, two bugbears walked nearer, slowly. With an evil grin, Alblaka yelled: You want to fight us? Then come and fight us! Again he began to gesture to perform a new spell... (No movement, casting Chill Touch (This is this "enchant your hands to perform cold damage"-spell, isn't it?) (( Sadbhav: You can hold your crossbow in one hand, and draw and attack with the dagger then.
Alblaka: Chill touch is a touch spell (melee). I'd say pick another or else you'll be wasting the spell. ))
Well, Scyther will do just that

(Damn... in BG you spell it and then your nect melee attack will be stronger. And the bugbears sseem to come into melee
