[solved] AI scripts
#1
[]
(For the case, someone asks: Search haven't shown my anything -.-)

I'm not very sure, whether this would have to go into DCing or into Hex editing. But i'm hopeful, it's first one (otherwise i cannot do anything), so i will try it here...

How is it possible, to make the AI using moves from new characters?
I heard about the "standard Template AI" which automatically gets used on all "new" chars (therefore they never use moves (intentionally)), but up to now i nowhere found any clue to change this anyhow...

Someone could help me, please?

well, only the main character ID's have their own AI, if you f.e. give your new char the same ID as henry, he'll act like he has a bow and always keeps distance from the enemy and uses his specials as often as henry does it... all other ids which aren't used on the orginal character got the template AI, means, only punching

there is smthing called "AI Copying to other ID's" in the hex section, with this really complicated hex editing stuff(atleast for me, I'm a beginner) you can copy the AI's to other id's, f.e. giving id: 2345 the same like id: 1, means if you have a character with id 2345, he's going to act like deep(id: 1), same works with the milk/beer bottle, if you copy that ai to any other id, then you're able to "drink" out of your new weapon, like that you can give your chars any ai you want... the bad thing is that you need to modifite the *.exe and anyone who downloads your chars needs that exe, too, when they should keep their ai

hope everything is cleared now

There was once a mod that had an AI tester in it. It was basically a template that opointed certain messages at certain inputs. You can try that, too, to see which id uses which attacks ;)

I think that AI tester might be found in RN-LF2, but I am not sure...

Just edit template.

Give him all move-tags (dva,dvj,d>a,d>j,dja...).

and every move is opointing a message with the move.

Then you fight against him and you will see pop up the messages by the moves.

little instroduction about that ai-tester
it's a template with some extramoves at all key combinations, if you press f.e. D>A he'll opoint out some thing on which is written "D>A", if you press D^A it says "D^A", etc.

now give that character any id you want, choose him as 'Com' and wait... he's going to "tell" you which attach he does how often... and if you search an AI for a new character and suddenly think, "Oh yeah, my character should act exactly like that ai-tester when he has id: 7 because he does D>A so often and uses D^J when I'm next to him. blablabla" then you just found out which id is the best for your new character
that's all about it, only finding out how the ai's act
