erm, is it really lf2 hacker who ask the question?
I doubt this somehow, now offence in case it's you, but I expected more.

First: THe +140 image is always necessary if you use state 8000

Second: Why the hell do you want to use id: 8000, how about another one? I think there're 1000 ids you can use without any problems and around 950 which are not in use already...

When I read this I also had to think about what MH said... :O

How about an opoint to the irt/kind8-weapon and next: 1000? Works fine on ground.

I think you can do it by using a name, face, and small size bmp for your ball.dat then you can use the state: 8XXX to transform weapon into ball. I think it should work (Cause i already experimented with it before)

(i think) the most hardest thing in this was the +140 frame rules. what will u do with the other 139 frames? empty?

Transformation (state 8xxx) different from opointing as it kept the HP and exact postion (maybe also velocity), but not the frame number. That when you want to specify the frame number, you must use opoint. (Otherwise you can do it only by the state 4xxx method created by hex editing)

A quick example copying pic to 140+:

I also wonder why you want to use id: 8000 <<< does it originally the state 8000 thingy in your mind?
