[released][char]: Reaper.
#91
ok, back again.
I haven't done much in... maybe the last two weeks, but now I started to work on the char again( as there isn't much to do anymore. And he has to be finished :D) I did the ice-frames(a bit strange because of his colour), bloodpoint and wpoint, some frames, the rowing frames( I took TheNave one's. They are pretty good, so why not?).
But now I have to do the burning frames. I tried to do them with BP's method, but something really didn't work. So I decided to try out on my own
What came out is this:

just don't look at the second frame. It's useless but somehow funny.
Now they aren't LF2-styled, but the whole char isn't so that doesn't matter( you could say they are reaper-styled. In my opinion they somehow fit to the char.). I think it isn't that bad, but I am pretty sure there are many things I could and some things I have to improve.
Remeber: Doesn't have to look LF2-styled.
So just have to do them, then I could release a v 0.9 or 1.0.

Well I glad that You're working on this project so far, it is very good!

Well, I think first is better, but in my opinion add more yellow color ;)

Hmm, don't do the flames in a pattern. They must look kinda random to give them a more natural look. I've been doing the fire-frames a few days ago, and here's the result of it:

It's basically just a bunch of brushing with different blendings and opacities with a dark red and an orange tone.

I know, it's far away from being lf2-styled but good enough, I think. As your char doesn't look 100% lf2-like, it's ok to make his fire-sprites a little different. Just one thing to add to your sprite: some lighter colors, a light-yellow/orange should fit quite well as a highlighter ;)

hm... what do you mean by pattern? I don't think I used a pattern. Maybe my definition of the word is a bit wrong.
Anyway, will have to try that out with the blendings and opacities. I only have to find out where I can change them in photofiltre.
oh and here is the second sprite also, just the highlights and sparks are still missing a bit.

Edit: Update

Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or so I will release a v 1.0.
@SimonLF2DCer: the second sprite in my last post isn't for burning. It just looks funny...

About the pattern that bp mentioned: I think he ment that u use repeated parts or repeated decorative area's in ur char.. Well, Bp will explain it better I guess ^^. Sorry I can't explain it better ;)

Well, I agree on Simon that u should use more yellow in ur burned frames, other than that.. I love ur char ;):p

yeah, that was exactly what I thought about patterns. And I hope I didn't do that. Maybe subconsciously.
Argh, I have to say something. It feels so much like posthunting...
ok, lets say... "1,969 views. Come on, only 31 more"
Still posthunting, isn't it? Wtf.
Btw: did you see the second one? A bit more highlights, but still not enough maybe. Well, tomorrow.Oh and you don't have to answer that question :D)
