Germany?

i was wondering, as i was looking through peoples profiles, that most people seem to be, or at least claim to be, from germany.
why is that? is it really well known and popular in germany?

i only know of 3 people from australia (where i am), me, dubbleD, and magnamancy. Only 3 from australia? come on...

I don't know why, but these reasons seem very logical to me.
If LFE had english and italian, we would have many italians I think

well, there're a few countrys where LF2 is quite popular - for example germany, poland and israel - there're a lot of polish lf2 sites, israel has lf2 global, but as far as I know germany don't have a large LF2 community in german. Maybe I forgot one, not sure - but since you can find all info about LF2 in german here and the community is quite active this is a good point to meet

there are not many austrians here either..
if i counted right.. its also only 5.. (me, don, lauli, nightelb, grim_reaper) if i forgot someone plz say so.
also there are no austrian sites the only sites in german are from germans
so i guess its the name (austria and australia is nearly the same) =p
and ppl mix it up very often

because english is something nearly everybody can understand.
If you are official fansite you can't be just for germans.

simple: it's not english only - mainsite content is translated into german, but for the forum I decided that it shoud be english to reach more people - that's all...

btw: you know the reason why I started with LFE? It's my bad brain. I wrote the tutorials so I don't forget everything - and since there's only a limited amount of german people I started to translate them ...

lol well its just people from 'everywhere' to me. it doesnt bother me about where people are from. although it makes sense there has to be at least 1 english fansite forum (not including official forum) right? this yeah?
