First: hi and welcome.
would you mind to explain it a bit more?
If you want to make attacks dealing only half of the damage: better forget it.
If you want chars not to get knocked down: you have to use an itr/k: 8 ball that hits the character with a negative value for... bdefend or fall, don't remember.
I guess you haven't done DC'ing, so that could be difficult, too.
If you want to get an armor like Louis has, I think you need to use the id of him.

Uhm... It's something like you make his armor a heavy weapon with a body with the size the character should have, and after that you delete the bodies in the characters frames where he is "holding" the armor so the weapon gets hit instead of the character.
The reason why you should use a heavy weapon is because it leads the character to frames he can walk in, while not being the standard standing frames, so he can have different sprites and movement for when he wears his armor and when he has no armor.

You must make so he can't pick up items because if he can pick up items and he picks a heavy item, it will only look buggy when he gets to the frames you have changed to fit together with the armor.

Now i got it, he means the reflection effect ^^

But 2 questions:
1. Firzen and Knight, k... but Jan too?
2. Agreed to Nave, WhyTF pressing D rapidly should increase the defense? It will only spam the STAY command...
