Every picture in this thread should be linked to a bigger version by clicking on them. I won't give out the original size, though, which can easily be >3000px. But anyways, most images should have a download link on their respective sites ;)

dude, you are an awesome photographer :D
i love all of these pictures, especially the heaven one and the planes over that mountain.

i recently downloaded Vue7, but haven't had much luck with it. Are there any good tutorials you could post here? (mainly concerning those awesome mountains with the trees)

the cave-boat one is a little confusing though. The cave looks fairly realistic, but the person on the boat looks too much like a drawn black blob, and the boat looks too much drawn on aswell.
the water is pretty good, though i would have liked to see some ripples around the boat, and a little less foggy-ness. Its good, its just that the scene is too realistic for the character in the boat.

awesome as usual :D
The one with the boat looks very good now, but as alectric mentioned...
The phoenix one is awesome, but I would recomment to make the asteroid a bit darker maybe.
I already knew the second one I think, very good too although the sky colour on the top looks a bit strange.
Next one good, too, i just don't get why the aeroplanes are there...
seond from the right side... I don't know what to improve...
right one... Well, for most of your space pictures I can't give any advices at all.
Last one looks interesting although not very special. Is it intended that the left way leads to darker clouds? :D

Edit: @beyond: Did I really write wrong way??? Seems that I did.:D

Tutorials? For Vue? I actually did everything by trial & error and never bothered checking for any tutorial. Takes up loads of time but at least you learn what every little bit does :P
The only thing I can recommend is the program's documentation. While rendering you might end up in not being able in doing anything processor-intensive for quite a while(referring to the planes/mountain, they took 70 hours to render), so that time could be easily spent on reading a 600-pages pdf. lol :D

Quite frankly, I suck at drawing people :P
I'll think about the ripple-deal. Could become interesting, esp if I want to produce that result in a render-engine only.
But yeh, you revealed it all, boat & person are drawn ;)

Asteroid? I must've failed at that attempt to draw a nebula... gotta provide a 100% screenshot of the neb, I see :P

I warmly recommend the artist's comments on that page, they should explain a whole lot ;)

Hmm, I might need to explain a little about the making: this is a panorama-shot, spanning roughly 180°. The two ways you see there are actually the same one but since I shot over such a wide angle it's bent a little strangely. You can actually say: the way "connects" the bright and the dark clouds :P

Honestly, I'd love to make some money by selling prints but there's that deal with absolutely too high prices on deviantart. It seems that the Buy Print button is more decoration than anything else :P

You use a way too hard lighting in the renders.
Make alot more light sources. OR if possible use Global-Illumination

Well, I usually use Ambient Occlusion. Pretty much my compromise between realistic light-distribution and procession speed (Global Illumination often gives me pretty bad results and Global Radiosity is just way too processor-intensive). Nevertheless, thanks for the critique.

By the way, here are some new ones:
