@chase123: In martial art there are some poses that look like those (even though the feet and the body create a nearly 90 degree angle but you get the idea).

You are good as a spriter. The poses you choose for the characters make them look original, even though some parts may be copied from other characters.

It's really hard to keep the arm look right. They took me like ten minutes to finish (and I still think the left arm have something weird).

in my opinion the left arm was too much in the forground.
i tried to fix that and also made a few other changes just for fun...for example i killed all these black pixels around him^^

Coding can be kind of boring some time (God forgive me) especially when your DCing problem can be solved way too easy now with a Hex master around (***e) So I made this 51% self-made sprite:
