The next morning, the party gathered in front of the inn. The first thing Drahcir said was, "Let's go."
"Where?" asked Philus.
"To the ancient lake. To kill Nostro."
"Wait--NOW!?" asked Cen.
"Yes, now!" replied Drahcir, taking off. "Hurry up!"
"But we didn't even--" Sonidow began to shout as Drahcir ran right out of earshot. "...eat yet."
"Guess we have no choice then," commented Mailliw. "Let's pack some food and water, then get going."

---

After the party caught up to Drahcir, they convinced him to not tire himself out before he got there. The rest of the trip was rather uneventful. After a few days and nights involving some sparring sessions between party members, they arrived at the Ancient Lake. Nostro was performing a ritual of some sort.
Drahcir charged in, beamsword drawn, followed quickly by the other melee fighters.. The demons converged on the group. Sonidow quickly started slaying demons left and right, quickly gaining the lead in body count. Simoneon, Malliw, and Alec brewed up a cold lightning storm of glass shards in an attempt to interrupt Nostro's ritual. Cen's fists lit on fire as he and Philus threw a flurry of punches at the demons.

Finally, they reached Nostro, who motioned for his followers to step back. "It is only a matter of time now," he stated.
"What do you mean!?" demanded Alec.
Instead of answering, Nostro drew his great mace. "DIE!"

Sonidow charged at the demon lord, slashing once with each sword--and failing to penetrate the armor-tough hide.
"Use this!" Drahcir called to Sonidow, tossing him Anubis's sword.
Sonidow sheathed both his blades and caught the new one in the time it took to travel between the two fighters. He then promptly sent a flurry of blows toward Nostro's mace hand, weakening it.
Cen struck immediately after that, first raising a fist to block Nostro's mace blow at the shaft, then leaped up and punched Nostro across the face before Nostro kicked him between the legs, sending him flying.
Alec then created a giant glass blade and sent it at Nostro, who blocked it with his mace before Harold grabbed it and struck with all his might, leaving splinters of shattered glass in Nostro's hide, which Philus promptly punched in deeper.
At that point, Simoneon finished casting, sending a bright spear of light at Nostro's face, causing him to reel, half blind. Long then stabbed Nostro once, twice, in the eyes, rendering him completely blind.
Drahcir struck next, slashing once, twice, three times with his beamsword. The blade left burn marks in Nostro's skin, but not much more. Nostro responded by swinging his mace overhead in what would be a killing blow if Mailliw did not stop it in midair, face contorted with concentration. Drahcir leaped out of the mace's way before it hit the ground.
Seeing her chance, Kira climbed onto the mace, onto Nostro's strong arm, and impaled his chest with her spear. It was hardly a killing blow, though, until Sonidow plunged Anubis's flaming blade through that same wound. As they all retreated and Nostro staggered, a HUGE ball of purple-black energy hit him and exploded. Nothing at all was left after that.
"Useless servants," a deep voice could be heard.
"J-Julian!?" stuttered Simoneon.
The next soul bomb sent them all flying far, far away.

Half of the water in the Ancient Lake remained after the huge ball that claimed King Nostro’s life exploded. Cen, Alec, Mailliw, Philus, and Long were out cold. Only Sonidow, Drahcir, Kira, and Simoneon remained standing. Simoneon went to protect Kira while Sonidow and Drahcir stood in front of a large cloud of purple smoke…waiting.
A large shadow began forming in the smoke and glowing red eyes opened near the head of the shadow. Drahcir looked at Sonidow who stood firm looking at the shadow without fear. After seeing Sonidow’s resolve, he himself was encouraged in strength. Then without warning, the smoke quickly spiraled and finally dispensed showing the true form behind the shadows. Julian!
Seeing the devilish warlord who was supposed to have died years ago began to shake the two up. It was Hell getting this far. But now they faced the one whose power greatly overwhelmed those of Nostro’s. His mere presence sent shivers down Drahcir’s spine. Sonidow himself was uneasy. The next words the dark being spoke struck a stronger sense of fear into the two. Simoneon and Kira could only watch now and hope for the best.
“So you are the ones who have been causing my legions so much trouble.”
“It ends here.” Sonidow swiftly replied with Drahcir nodding his head in approval.
“You honestly think you can defeat me?” Julian said with a voice so deep and demented. “Look at you all. It took all of you to take down Nostro. What do you think your chances are of defeating me?”
“It doesn’t matter,” Drahcir said, “even if its .001 percent, we will still defeat you.”
“For someone from a more highly technological world,” Julian began taking two steps forward, “your logic is heavily flawed. I could kill you in an instant if I wanted to.”
Drahcir drew his beamsword. “Then why don’t you do it?”
Sonidow was stunned by Drahcir’s courage. But he thought of it as mere foolish bravery. However he thought the same way for himself. He really didn’t care what happened as he felt that they were about to all die soon.
Drahcir turned and looked at Sonidow, who drew both of his swords. Sonidow turned and looked at Drahcir. They both turned and looked at Julian. The devil warlord smirked under his mask.
“Come then.”
Sonidow and Drahcir charged at the warlord and suddenly a large dome of light came and separated them all from the fight…and each other.

~

Eyes opened.
They looked around to see an unfamiliar setting. Drahcir rose up and looked around. He realized that he was in a room of some sort and had no idea where everyone else was or what had happened. He looked forward and saw an opening that showed the sun rising over the sea in the distance. Suddenly a figure came in front of the opening and looked at him. To Drahcir, the figured looked like the redheaded man from before. But this man’s hair was…orange and he quickly noticed on his finger…he was wearing an unusual ring….

Man this story will be hard for me to write with two screens, well here goes nothing.

After Anubis death.

Manji saw how everyone was crying. "Well I better go to Ancient Lake and wait for people to come there." So Manji was looking for a good amount of shadows to travel, then it started to rain. It was raining with small drops and it was a weak rain so he then ran towards the Ancient Lake.
Near the lake it stopped raining but it didn't stop near the village. Manji started to look for some tea leafs and only found 5. After he made some tea and drank it he looked and the lake and found something at the bottom of it. He didn't try to get it he just started walking on the water. Slowly he was moving on the water. After he heard some one coming he started ruining towards the other side of the lake and made the same type of smoke as the last time when he was tired.
After a while he came back to the same spot that he was. At the time he came back was the same time Julian threw a soul bomb and every thing exploded. The bomb was to far from Manji so it didn't bother him but later he sawsome kind of light and said out loud, "not again!"
I am back, not really.

OOC: Wow, all of you are damn fast with writing, time for me to do something. Another splitting of the group...

As the dome of light disappeared, Cen saw Julian standing in the middle of it. But where were Sonidow and Drahcir?
„What did you do with them?“
Julian laughed.
„It doesn’t matter for you as all of you will soon die.“
He began to charge another soul-bomb when suddenly a shadow coming from the lake stroke at him. Julian easily blocked the attack, but the spell was interrupted.
Quickly the shadow jumped back and landed a few meters away from Julian. It raised its head and now the fighters could finally look into Manji‘s face.
Manji was completely focused on Julian, noticing every single movement of his body.
„I won’t allow you to precipitate this world into darkness again. I will stop you here and now.“
With this words he dashed to Julian with the other fighters joining him. Manji was the first one reaching him and aimed for the arm. However Julian didn’t make any single movement. He kept a straight face as the sword hit him.
Before he could laugh at the useless try, Mailliw came from behind.
„For Drahcir!“ he screamed as he jabbed his sword into Julian’s back. But also this try hadn’t any effect but making Julian grin under his mask.
„I’ve spent enough time with those idiots of your kind. Be happy, I will reprieve you this time.“
Another dome of light came and suddenly Julian vanished, the only thing remaining was his laughter in the air.

As the tension declined, Cen started to look around. The field around him was filled with dead bodies of both humans and demons, many faces filled with pain and fear. He shook his head. Again the image of Anubis lying on the ground, closing his eyes for the last time came up in his mind. Why did it have to be like that? A single tear was running down his face, but he brushed it away. He had to go on, time for sorrow would be later.
His look came back to the point where Julian had disappeared. Where could Drahcir and Sonidow be? What would happen to them? He didn’t even want to imagine it.
Then it fell on Manji. The other one noticed him, too. However he turned around without saying anything. Cen wanted to stop him but he was already away.
Philus came to him, patting him onto the shoulder.
„I’m sure we will see them again. Don’t worry.“
Cen looked around and looked into Philus‘ eyes.
„Don’t lie at me. You aren’t sure at all. But there isn’t time for sorrow anyway.“
His finger pointed to the other side of the lake where the last battles took place. In the first line he could see Noir fighting. The humans were about to win.
„We won’t be there fast enough to help them much. For us, this battle has nearly ended. What we now have to do is rescuing Drahcir and Sonidow. I’m sure he brought them to the castle Firend. That is where we have to go now. Every minute we waste could be their death.“
„What, now?“ Mailliw asked.“ We can’t already run for the next fight. The soldiers need a rest and the wounded have to be subserved.“
„Then only we will go.“
„Without an army? Without even a rest?“
„If we have to, yes. All we have to do is stopping him until the army reaches the castle. Or until you, Simoneon, and Noir find a possibility to defeat him. I’m not going to let any other of my friends die. But I won’t force anybody to join me.“
He looked at everyone around him, one by one. As his look fell on Philus, it rested while he tried to read his expression but he quickly went on. He didn’t want to force anybody.
„So, I will leave in an hour. Everyone willing to join me should be back here then.“
With this words he ran to the other side of the lake to help with defeating the last demons. The others were running close to him. And in the shadows, from the top of a tree, two red eyes were looking at them until the man they were belonging to took another sip of tea.

"Chaos. Blood. Screams. Death. Shadow....
Shadow is surrounding them now. They can't run away from me. My mission is soon to be done. I can already feel his blood on my mouths. Next time we met, Noir... Only one of us will stay alive... I can assure you... You will fall in "lake" of your own blood... Prepare to feel blade of my sword going trough you like trough air... Prepare for pain... Prepare..." - all these thoughts were going trough Daymio's head while sitting on the highest tree in forest not so far from Cikuro.

Some Demon landed branch next to him. He interrupted in thinking.

"We found them.... They are going to Castle Firend. We think they are gonna stick to road next to the river Iriton and then over snow mountains get in to Demon land." - Demon said.

"Is he with them? Is Noir with them?"

"Yes. Few of our troops are following them all the time so we will be able to know their position in any time."

"Have you already informed Julian about this?"

"No."

"Good. Let it stay like that. He is to unstable. From now on you work for me. If they ask you anything just tell them that you didn't found them."

"As you wish."

"Now... Take me to them. It's time to give them a little visit."
After these words Daymio jumped from tree and demon jumped after him. While falling demon caught his coat on the back with his big claws and took him in to darkness of forest.

@Reaper: Thanks you did what I wanted to write about Mnaji.

Manji took another sip from his tea and jumped down from the tree behind Philus and Cen and his eye's came to normal red eye's. "Well hello there, I've been looking for you for a long time." Manji said.
"Who are you?" Cen asked. "Well I'm one and only Manji from Perion, the samurai legend."
"Samurais don't exist anymore, they are just thousand year old legends."
"That's true but I'm 3627 years old and I'm a true samurai, the peasant one and loyal one."
"H.h.h.how can you be that old, that's impossible." Cen said in shocking voice.
"Well you are right, but if I was a human I would be dead long ago but I'm something else, more than a normal human, I'm from a long forgotten clan that live more than 5000 years, I'm the only one left."
"Well, why did you look for us?"
"No clue, something in my had tells me to find all of you, also I can help get faster to the demon land if you willing to drink with me."

Okay some one continue on this part and please send me a PM when you chose okay I will tell how he helps them okay. ;)
I am back, not really.

OOC: Well, now it got a bit chaotic, so I decided to write a short( and crappy) part to get things more clear.
@Pi-face: As Daymio wrote, we were already on our way to Firend, means we weren't on the battlefield anymore.

Cen surveyed the man insisting to be a samurai suspiciously. The other one looked back out of his red eyes.
“Haven't you been the one fighting against Julian at Ancient Lake?”
Manji nodded.
“So why did you disappear afterwards?”
“I had better things to do than explaining my reasons for my intervening. Too late I realized that you belonged to the people I was searching for.”
“Well, we don't have much time to spent. Whatever you want to tell us, tell it quickly.”
“You should never be in hurry while arriving to a decision. Drink some tea with me or go on your way, it's not my choice. But I assume I can be very helpful for you.”
Cen looked across his shoulder. Only Phil, Noir and Mailliw had decided to come with him, while Simoneon, Long, Sharky, Tiny, Alec and Harold had decided to stay with the army. Mailliw first didn't want to join them, but finally the anxiety about his brother's fate was stronger than logics. Now all three of them nodded.
“Ok,” Cen said. ”What did you want to tell us?”

Drahcir looked around the room. It had pretty much the standard features of a jail cell. Light came through a slit in the wall.
"So you're awake," said the man looking at him. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Korton, Warlord of Fire. And you are nothing more than a miserable little rat compared to Lord Julian You will be painfully executed in a month, along with your friend."
Although Drahcir didn't know what the heck a rat was, he assumed it was an insult. He noticed that Julian's forces had apparently managed to forget about his equipment. "No I won't. Not with incompetent guards like you!" he said, leaping up, drawing his beamsword, and slashing at Korton.
Korton easily dodged the attack. "Oh, I'm competent enough, I assure you. You have no chance to best me.
"Oh, I think I do," said Drahcir, turning off his beamsword and firing a beam of particles from the other end. It hit Korton in the face, knocking him back. "I do."
Korton responded by throwing a flurry of fireballs at Drahcir. Drahcir placed his beamsword in their path. As each one hit the beamsword, it suddenly rebounded towards Korton, who absorbed them back into his ring. He then drew a flaming scimitar and charged.

Drahcir and Korton circled each other as they paced themselves, watching each other’s moves waiting for an opening.
“I see that you failed to realize…”
Drahcir blinked and Korton was behind him. With his scimitar, Korton attempted to stab Drahcir through his back. The otherworlder quickly blocked his attack, sweating as he realized he was so close to death and defeat.
“…you failed to realized,” Korton repeated, “that I am a Warlord!”

Sonidow’s eyes rose from their sunken place. He gathered himself and took a glance around this strange new environment. It was a jail cell with thick heavy bars. All of his equipment and weapons were taken from him and he was quickly thinking of a way to get out. Suddenly he heard a long creaking noise and looked ahead. A wooden door on the other side of the heavy bars was opening. He was shocked at who he saw. That red hair was unforgettable. And he quickly caught notice that he was wearing a strange ring. Sonidow glared and gritted his teeth at the redheaded man.
“Why don’t you die?” He asked blatantly.
The shadows in his face changed showing an evil grin on his face. “When I am free…then we shall see.”
The redheaded man turned away but Sonidow stopped him, “How did you come into possession of a Warlord’s ring?”
The man looked down at his right hand, raising it up to face level. “Oh this? I’ve always had this.”
Sonidow was shocked and confused. “Then, that time when we were at Hiryo village…?”
The man noticed that Sonidow was catching on, “Yes…I deliberately let myself be cut by your sword. I wanted to test the limits of your strength as opposed to mine!”
Sonidow glared harder at the man. “You’ve had that ring this entire time and you never sought to use it against me. Who are you and why do I always feel the need to kill you?”
“Me?” The man replied. “It’s not me your hatred flares for. It’s the being who is no longer inside of me.”
“What…what are you talking about?” Sonidow replied.
“The Crimson One!” The redheaded man replied, “That’s who you are destined to fight with. Not me. I was just the person whom his spirit dwelled inside of. A carrier of a far greater power. But now I have power of my own. And he has gone to a certain location to wait for you. He told me to you that after we split back into our old forms.”
Sonidow thought over it carefully. “Where is this ‘certain location’?”
The purple in his eyes flickered and the redheaded man smiled and left. Sonidow yelled at him trying to regain his attention.
“WHERE????!!!”
The man chuckled slightly and closed the wooden door behind him.

Okay sorry for that Reaper and here I'll write a short one too for some one to continue.

"Well I have a short cut to the Firend, but it's really dangerous." Manji said.
"Well, what is it?" Cen asked. "Well, I can travel from a shadow to shadow but they must be big enough and long enough which means it must be night, or we can go to another land parallel to this but time goes faster then in this world and you can say one second in here but 1 hour in there also the land is worse then the center of hell." Manji said.
"We should go the faster way." Philus said.
"I know that you want to save your friend as fast as possible but I don't think Julian will kill him soon, in my opinion we should wait for night and discus things."
I am back, not really.
