actually the only whing which is hexed is the part that you just stand there and move with the boat - nave gave me one itr I had to add to the boat, I added it to four frames, that was it - I guess it wasnt much :p

wow, that looks cool
i like the BG and how you've got a layer overlapping davis (may i ask how you did that?)
btw, what is that screeny bit from, like where in the story?
its looks awesome,
but what are the blue whirlwinds for, or the hole in the ground??

yep, that's right - Nave and HC help out with Sprite and Hex ;)

For the story point: it's a cave in the forest you enter to get a shield - this shield is a stage choice object - depending when you use it will change the story line...

for the frontground: well, with hit_j you can make new backgrounds - or put stuff to the front :p

if youve actually tried the test, youll find the blue whirlwinds are part of the stage. youll have to do something to get them up
and i reckon that the rocks at the front is an object with that rock sprites spawned at the bottom?

Are you planning to spawn other enemies than Bandits?
Other than that, the riddle gets too easy if you already mastered it once.

It could get "new" each time, if the first field you should enter always is random.
The rest stays the same (accordingly changed to the first field though)
I don't know how you made that, but maybe you can use "id: 3000" for spawning each time something different.
