Blue Phoenix dashes off into the alley. Drahcir follows up right behind, then Bamboori.

Nave: Guys, wait! It's a trap! My senses...
SirFrog: I think so too.
Nave: It's too late, they went inside!
SirFrog: Then we must go too.

Blue Phoenix reaches the end of the alley and sees a person lying on the floor. He goes over to examine him, when suddenly a lot of people jump out from niches and behind crates.

???: New bait, new fun.
Blue Phoenix: Wuzzat!

The person who was lying on the floor now stands up, armed with a sword.

Bamboori: Damn, we're cornered!
Blue Phoenix: Then there's no way out. We don't want to end this the bloody way.

Spell: You can choose a spell you've learned and cast it. Costs MP.
Item: You can use an item. You can also change your weapon, shield or accessoir, but only one piece at most.
Defend: Increases the chance of avoiding the next attack on you for a round.
Escape: You can escape the battle if everybody else from your team does that and your total AGI is higher than the enemies'.
