Is there any way to code an introduction for a character?
E.g. Parachute in
If its not possible then it doesn't really matter, was just wondering

not possible...
well, it is, but it's kinda buggy and complicated and actually not worth doing it

Uhm, it IS possible...
Usually, if your char gets "spawned" he goes to a certain frame (landing from the air) or something. Then you just code that frame to make him invisible and bring him high into air, do the parachute move and then transform him into the "real char" (which doesn't have parachute etc, otherwise you would do parachute after every jump).
Not really buggy ^^
Version 1.10 out now!

Version 1.22 out now!
Return (String) System.getNewsOfTheDay();
Barely active, expect slow responses. If at all.

Well, Alblaka's method should work, but it depends whether you want this intro to happen in all modes or just in stage. If it is the latter, you would have to zero-place an object in stage to trigger the intro move.

Well, i kinda thought up a method but i am not 100% sure it will work, but i will tell you anyway
Method:
When character first enters the game, he goes to the jump frame i think, but if you use dvy: 550 on the first standing frame, he starts off on the ground.
So make the first standing frame dvy: 550
Then, make the standing frame, go to these intro frames, were he does his intro thing.
This means your gonna have to create 1 new standing frame, and edit most of the character.
Just create the new standing frame, without the dvy: 550, and make the next go to the next standing frame>>>>>( 1 )
Then, you need to change all the frames which has 999 and make it so it goes to the new standing frames instead.
The only thing i can think of which will have a probelm, is the jumping frames, the next 999. But, if i am right when you jump, then hit the ground you go to your crouching frames, so my methos should work.
But feel free to correct me if i am wrong.
