Hello LF-Fans !

I´m a young Guy from Germany, who wants to create his own LF Version with all charakters, Stages, waepons, etc., you can download and with new and my own charakters, stages, waepons, etc. ;-)

But I have some Problems:

1. Adobe Photoshop CS:
Are you shure, that this programm is safe ?
I mean I´ve downloaded it but I´m not shure, if I will create a new account because, they need my first and last name + my adress.

Have you created a new account, yet ?
- Yes? - Please tell me: is it safe ?


2. .dat
I can´t open a file in format ".dat"
But I want to know, how LF is created. :/

How can I open this files ?

To your questions

1. I don't think you need to create an account at all. In any case you can still input a false name and address.

2. Check LFE (Mainsite) for more details. (Scroll up and click "LFE v9.0", we even have a German section.)
Basically, you need a program called "Data Changer" to open up and edit those files. Then you can check out the tutorials on LFE to get you started.

Photoshop is safe.
Its made by Adobe and thats the reason why it is called Adobe Photoshop.
Adobe makes a hell lot of shareware programs that all costs about 999$.
Yes it is safe and nearly any site requires your first and last name its completely normal.

Here you can download a data changer that will allow you to open .dat files.
You will need understandment of the LF2 DC Language and you can get in here.

Its nearly the easiest programming language of them all.
Ask in the forums if you need more help.

Also there is a data file limit in LF2 meaning that you wont be able to put all characters, stages, weapons and so on in one mod.

BTW: Your english is completely fine.
Its easy readable, understandable and so on.
No need excuse on that part.

It doesnt give you any virus that way it is safe.
Downloading doesnt cost any money at all as you can have a 30 days trial and then it will stop functioning.
And then if you buy it you will get it functioning forever.

I will recomend photo filter. It isnt as good as photoshop but it can do most of the things you will need to make a LF2 sprite.

now I have the next questions:
1. What does "itr" or "bdy" means ? (You find it in the Data Changer, if you look to some Attacks you maybe see this)
What does -for example- itr:
kind: 0 x: -1 y: 12 w: 189 h: 151 dvx: 30 fall: 70 vrest: 15 bdefend: 60 injury: 66 effect: 1
itr_end:
means (it is a frame of "emmet")
When do you use this frame and for what ?

2. I think the attacks in lf are very hard to learn what they mean (3 Attack´s in 1 ".dat" ?).
Can I also use for 1 attack 1 ".dat" ?
And if not, hoe can I see what what attack is ?

ok and again a question (now i didn´t found it anywhere in the lf-empire)
When I open "lf2 CFG Patcher" and click to my "exe" and "cfg" file and trie to "patch" anything there, comes an alert which says that I can´t patch the file.
What is wrong with my "patcher" or what do i do the wrong way ?
