They follow the path straight ahead. After some time it gets narrower and makes a right turn. After Drahcir and SirFrog turn right, they hesitate.

SirFrog: There's... a big spider.
Drahcir: Indeed. I don't know... shall we try to get past it?
SirFrog: Or fight it?
Drahcir: Or even go back?

Phil and Bamboori turn in left, and after a while the path makes another left turn.

Phil: It's a dead end.
Bamboori: A dead end with spiders, look there!
Phil: Oh no, they are coming towards us!
Bamboori: It's just spiders... wait... they are big!!
Phil: (Holy crap)³!

Special Attack: You can choose between various attacks. All of them have something special. Costs MP.
Spell: You can choose a spell you've learned and cast it. Costs MP.
Item: You can use an item. You can also change your weapon, shield or accessoir, but only one piece at most.
Defend: Increases the chance of avoiding the next attack on you for a round.
Escape: You can escape the battle if everybody else from your team does that and your total AGI is higher than the enemies'.

Blue Phoenix and Nave decide to go into the narrow passage. They slip in, then then path turns right, and shortly thereafter sharply left again. The path gets broader gradually.
They walk for another minute when Nave stops.

Nave: Ugh! Enemies ahead!
Blue Phoenix: I can't see anything.
Nave: But I can feel them.
Blue Phoenix: Let's get a little nearer.

Blue Phoenix sneaks forward and then indeed spots enemies at a left turn.

Blue Phoenix: Sh*t! Spiders! And loads of them.
Nave: How many?
Blue Phoenix: About 5 or 6 big ones, it's a bit chaotic how they're running around and shooting webs everywhere. Can't count the tiny ones. Must be millions.
Nave: Just anywhere?

Blue Phoenix peaks around the corner.

Blue Phoenix: No, there's a really narrow passage they're trying to close, I think. They don't seem to do a lot of progress though.
Nave: Shall we try and get there?
Blue Phoenix: With so many spiders? They look dangerous.
Nave: Then let's continue normally.
Blue Phoenix: Well, other than that this path is a dead end.
Nave: Well, sh*t.

darn, ninja'ed... well, now I know the states of these monsters... and I think 5 of them definately are to strong for us two, I even have low mps... so... going back that path and then turn to tha east!
