Making a ball into certain frame at its position
#1
Asking again with another level of DC-ing (yay! i'm level up!):D

Well, now i'm trying to make a ball that will go to certain frames in its position when the opointer in a certain frame.
How it'll work:
-Character opoint a forward-moving ball and go into special stance for 2 seconds
-There are 2 trick can be activated at this state:
1st. press A and the ball will split into 4 on its current position
2nd. press J to explode the ball on its current position

the most hardest thing is how to make the ball do the certain frames on its current position?

Hmmm... I would recommend this:
The char spawns 3 balls.

First T3 is invisible and has a special bdy. Also it contains a itr8, that causes disappear when reacting to the quick T0.
The "hit"-frames of this ball link to the 4-split-move AND hits the thrid T3 with a special itr.

Second T3 is invisible and has another special bdy. Also it contains a itr8, that causes disappear when reacting to the quick T0.
The "hit"-frames of this ball are an explosion AND hits the thrid T3 with a special itr.

Third T3 is the casual ball, with a special body, too.
The "hit"-frames of the ball just make it disappear and summon a quick (1-frame) T0 object with a special body.

Pressing A will cause the char to hit the first T3 with a special itr, pressing J will hit the 2nd T3. Make sure he is in state: 18 or something since he otherwise may wont hit the balls (since direct opoints are allied...).

The entire deal is the fact, that the first two T3's cant be hit by anything, but the characters commands. Should be working for you ^^

Actually this should work, though i cannot ensure it for 100%...

@below: Yes, thats a way, too... but mine works without COM-logo ^^ (at least it wont be there the entire time)

You can make the ball constantly opoint out an type: 0 with special bdy.

When your char go to the stand and:
-Hit A, he'll opoint out another type: 0 bdy which react with the ball bdy via itr/kind: 8 and goes to its position. After that, the bdy that your char opointed out will make the ball goes to the spliting move via itr/kind: 8 or kind: 3
-Hit J, same goes as above or you can make your char hit the ball and bring it to the hitting frame.

EDIT: Damn, I have got to learn how to type faster.

So i have to make 3 different ball datas? that's kinda space eating...
And this method is usable while the ball is moving forward isn't it?

Mainsite Wrote:State 3000 - Ball Flying

State 3000 is the standard state for attacks. If the ball hits other attacks with this state, it'll go to the hitting frame (10). If it is hit by another ball or a character, it'll go to the the hit frame (20) or rebounding frame (30).
If you press a. in frame 60/65 you got ik9 that hit the special bdy of the ball sending it to frame 30.

If you press J in the jump frame you opoint a invisible weapon with bdy
that the ball hit sending the ball to frame 10 or 20. I don't really remember.
Of course the weapon doesn't last long.Just enough to active the ball frame.

The bad side of this method is that it waste the ball basic functions and
you can't use state: 3005/6.

You use the state: 3000 basic functions.Oh and don't make the ball hitable for enemys or allys. The ball should
get hit only by your ik9.

Press attack hit the ball bdy with ik9 and press Jump spawn a t1 that get hit by the ball and cause the ball to go
to frame 20/10. frame 20/10 =boom. frame 30 ? the other thing you wanted.

Don't use dvx/dvy in the ik9 then.As for the ball hiting the t1 .I don't think it will slow down the ball.

Similar method:

The ball you opoint is a state: 3005 ball with a bdy.Pressing attack opoint a t3 that hits its bdy with state: 3005 ik9 sending the the ball to frame 30 making it do the thing you wanted.

Pressing J will opoint t3 state: 3005 with ik0 that send the ball to frame frame 10.

To make it clear. ik9 in the attack =1st. press A and the ball will split into 4 on its current position(frame 30).

Opointing state: 3005 ik0 in jump = sending your ball to frame 10/20 = kaboom.

It isn't space eating... just id-eating ^^

Actually it will may "lag" and the ball will explode 1 frame later (and therefore move i frame long further forward) then you actually clicked the button, but i guess, noone will ever notice that ^^

Data Code (Click to View)
I hope its clear. You should fix the values cause its may collide with your other stuff too.I didn't tested that code but I made
a bomb that that react to ik9 and ik0 and explode. Its pretty useful to exploit the balls functions.
