-Don't give links, post them directly in the thread (spoilered).
-If you make let's say 5 screenies, don't make 4 of them feature the skin and only 1 the gameplay. Normal member is more interested in gameplay (Characters in battle), so make f.e. 1 or 2 about skin and others about ingame stuff.
Eddie told you a bunch of reasons why.
I am going to tell you only one: Post screens or else we get pissed off.
Someone put the first part (the tips) in the rules.. PLEASE. (That is a joke - but if you want to, go ahead... make everyone's life easier).
My reason was probably a repeat several times over, along with your pissed off.. something that gets shown frequently in all of my posts. So I enlarged them to make a specific point.
Now, for constructive criticism, the moment you've all been waiting for:
1) If you've got a theme background wise, etc... Stick to it. So far you've used gold, silver, blue, some horrible blue wavey background and just an edit of red writing. Here's my opinion:
- The red writing edit is fine, but keep all of your backgrounds in sync. The changing of colours and inconsistency does nothing but tick people off generally. It doesn't look professional - no offence.
- Your title also needs to be consistent. In one part you have black over gold, then you have red over blue. They both read different things... Inconsistency is not good. They also have different fonts by the looks of things, make them the same!
2) I promise I won't rant too much on this, but the health bar part looks horrible... I mean it. Change it back. Or do something different with it. The tiled effect it has looks horrible, at a minimum, change that please.
3) What on earth is he doing with the justin's? Throwing them at people!?
I appreciate the work you're trying to produce, I congratulate you and say well done on your effort. You are trying really hard. Well done. Now all that's left to do is try harder and put more effort in, and voila - you'll be there in no time.
Once again all my love, your friendly father like figure,
Eddie
Edit: And at 53.9MB I can only say this was not in my opinion a download I saw as worthwhile or liked... You've got to do a bit better, no offence.
One day, I shall become, TUTORIAL-MAN: Superhero of writing overly long, overly annoying tutorials which most people probably won't read, but will give it a stab at the first 5 lines!
