Can't play with Maveric (?)

i've tried to change the order of them...

have you installed it manually or changed it already while trying to get it to work?

well i installed it with the install thing and then when it didn't work, i changed... or sth i'll edit when i try

edit: didn't work...

can it be that maveric can't be played when there are other downloadable char or sth...it always crashes at maveric_balll.dat....

That is definitely not causing it. Just for fun, I threw together a little mod to play with my friends at school, in it there is maverick (and lots of other downloaded chars). Haven't experienced any loading problems at all so far. And they're all downloaded from LFE.

A little question that I have is this: did you try to manually install him? As in: insert the dats/bitmaps into the (correct) folders.

did you already try putting ball.dat in first position and see whether it still crashes on that same file or crashes somewhere else?

actually it can - sometimes such a problem doesnt occur when installing him alone

this is a system specific problem anyway - i cant just recreate it on my/any computer

That's what I suspect, too. Some computers are really picky with LF2-characters. Don't know why, tho. But yeah.....

@Wiro: tried loading LF2 on a different computer?

i had that problem it happen because

the ball contains more than 5 itr effects in the same frame this has been know to crash some computer (metal gear lf2 had the same problem with rex for some computer and some with BANME) just open the maveric_ball and delete some itr in frames with more than 5 itr until they all have five or less.

or if you can't data change u could download the "lf2va frames-itr" which can handle 100 itr and 799 frames, but bat chase doesn't work on that exe.
