Ok heres just an assortment of character art and concepts that I think You'll enjoy. I'll probably post any character art concepts and sprites all in here or anything related here.

Here is a high quality version of the face pic. I used the face pic to show his personality.


Here is a high quality version of the sprite. Its scaled to 4 times the original size.


And some concept art. Rocky used to have a black leather jacket but it didn't look good and was going to be hard to animate so I designed his brown sleeved shirt.

Here is an old face pic. He doesn't look nothing like this but Its cool looking.


Older design looks like a ninja.



Large sprite I made just for fun. I was thinking of green forest camouflage but Then I wanted to do desert camouflage and I think it looks good.


Some more concepts. His style is commando style like solid snake. Stun grenade, choking grenade, and concussion grenade are some of the ideas for moves. I also want like knife moves, some cqc action.

He is an Irish magic user.


Here is a very rough looking version of him just to show some color ideas.


Freckles and attack ideas. His main powers would be like a prism. Lots and Lots of colors and maybe they explode into fireworks.

NICK

I was think that every attack he makes can have two different versions. He always gets into a stance and then do the attack. One reg and one strong. The strong ones are done by hitting j in his stance while the normal ones is hitting a in his stance. The strong ones cost more MP and take a few frames longer to do. hitting d in a stance cancels the stance. These can be interchanged into combos.

Updated versions of nick

the pink one is the newest and I really like the look of it. If I were to make him a character he'll have cherry blossom attacks. The red one is more of a soldier version. not nearly as cool

concepts/color ideas. He has a cool gourd but its hard to make it show on such a small sprite.

FRANZ

Concept/Colors. Franz is a speed character. Sporting a cool racing jacket his main fighting style is to zip around. I think he looks pretty cool an fast.

Here is a big sprite of him. I changed the color of the jacket and the yellow pattern.

And what he would look ingame. I'm not sure if the blue makes him too colorful but its a nice color combo. Might be too bright tho.

Concepts and colors. I would like to think that he is some sort of assassin.

Here is his big sprite. I'm think of making him a character whenever I finish Rocky.

Wilt

I added a cool backpack to his design. That is where he stores all of his explosives. He also has a cool knife.

Sean

changed his cloak's color a little bit. Its now a soft lavender. He still has the square energy attacks.

Nick

This one was fun to draw. I added some of the cherry blossom decals to his robe.

Franz

Fast! I like this color scheme , it has black on his jacket but his pants are now blue jeans.

Clide

Cliiiiiiddddeee. His pose is the " I can beat you with one hand behind my back" pose. He is a kung fu expert.

Tempest

A new design. This guy is like rocky's oppisite. A wind user.

Luke

A new design. He is an armored archer. The colors are a strange combo yet it is also a cool mix.

I'm still working on this comic, its about 100+ pages and spans about 3 and a half years of work plus more if you include concepts and all that. Just click "the 3rd" for the Jump.

I found it while digging through my old files and its a bunch of sprites! I was making them for an rpg that I was making WAY BACK in the day. The first set is the "old" ones that I used in the game and the 2nd set is the "new" ones that I was planing to use later.

The name of the game was Dark King and I think I only made like 3 or 4 levels before stopping. Anyways thought it would be cool to share.

These are some pretty fresh things you made there. I really love the idea of Wilt.
The design is really pretty awesome. But instead of giving him "just" smoke-grenades and similar. When I saw that Savanna-Guerillo design, I somehow thought about a suicide-bomber.
Now, you could actually make him something like that. A move where he pulls a grenade, he can run around, jump, dash and all and after some time the grenade goes off. But... you know he actually also can throw the grenade. But I thought it might be some interesting and risky gameplay with unlocked (?) grenades.

Brilliant concepts and the sprites are great (yet again).
I really like Sean and his 'colorful fireworks'; you can do some crazy visual effects with that kind of stuff.

LOL. In the colour sketch of Wilt I thought he was opening his mouth in a "THIS IS SPARTA" way.
And I like Sean's hairstyle. Orange and curled (in a weird way).

All of them are great, but yeah, somehow I like Sharn the most( though Rocky is great, too, while I don't like Wilt that much.)
Oh, and in your post you should also add one of your comic panels( "The 3rd"). I just read through it, it's even more great. I know you mentioned it, but still... A teaser might catch more people's interest.
