After banishing forgetlatios, Kay went away, replenishing his body from the action just taken. He chose a small hill covered with short, green grass to be his resting place.
The sun was brightly shining in the sky, at its zenith, and spent the regenerating warmth. Not even a single cloud darkened the deep blue sky.
"This must be heaven", Kay said to himself. It seemed to be this way -- there was nothing to harm him. Just the sun rays reached his skin, making him feel even more comfortable. The hours passed by and Kay watched a splendid sunset indicating the approaching night.
"I better go now, I don't feel like staying outside tonight."

And so, Kay started his journey back home, escaping this location which has so often become the place at which people have been persecuted, banned, and executed. He passed a puddle of blood, presenting the threat hovering over this area. Kay increased his pace.

Darkness had set in and the whole scenery had become pitch-black. Only the stars were twinkling high above his head and a deep, orange glow illuminated the horizon. Albeit all difficulties, Kay had almost reached home. A few clouds had started to appear and robbed the last details noticable to the human eye. So, he stumbled through the vast darkness, a deep void of infinite dimensions, until he crossed the ultimate hill from which he could see his house. What he saw made his jaw drop to the ground. The orange glow he had seen hours ago was nothing else than his very house being ablazed.

The fire had taken each and every of his possessions. Shocked and despaired at the same time, he cried into heaven: "Why?! Who could have done this?"
To his great surprise, a response came from right behind his back: "It was about time we would meet, Kay."
Kay quickly turned around and noticed the silhouette of a person.
"I have watched you for quite a while now. Don't look at me so sceptically! You could almost think that you don't remember me..."
An alarming signal went off deep inside of Kay's body but it was overwhelmed by the magnificent anger that was arising.
"Kay, who do you think could've burned your house?"
"Dude! Stop acting so weird and reveal yourself!"
"Oh, no need to be that enraged! See it positively, you are still alive..."
The fire had begun to jump over to other houses in the town, brighting up all of its surroundings. The mysterious person became illuminated as well and Kay indentified the one talking to him.
"Blue Phoenix!"
"Very true, sir."
"So you are the one behind all that!"
"Yes, indeed."
Kay was about to dash foward and choke him until he would not move anymore. Blue Phoenix quickly realized this and jumped aside. Each try to attack him ran into vain and after a while, Kay became tired.
"My dear Kay, you had your fun. Now it's my turn."
Breathlessly, Kay closely watched Blue Phoenix's actions.
"You see this little device I have here in my hand? I call it a 'doombringer' because that is what it is good for. A simple press on the green button will teleport me away from here."
"What... what is... the other one?"
"Oh, the red one, you ask? Well, let's say that this is the button which will end your fate."
Blue Phoenix could literally read the question mark in Kay's face.
"Or, to say it in other words, it will annihilate you. Let me show you how this works"
Kay was unable to say anything. He felt like being deeply rooted in the ground, unable to move. Like a little flower, helplessly exposed to any threat.
"I take this as a 'yes'. Enjoy your last seconds!"
After pressing the red button, a giant meteor broke through the clouds, heading towards Kay and Blue Phoenix.
"Just a few seconds left until the impact. Time to show you the magic of the green button."
Seconds later, Kay was there, alone, while the meteor vaporized him.
