BP stood in a cocon of light, unable to move. Somehow the teleport took longer than he had expected. A strange feeling took posession of him. He was travelling with the speed of light, it shouldn't take any measurable amount of time at all. There was just one possible explanation: He was travelling much further than he ought to.
After a few seconds the light began to fade and revealed the inside of an old Victorian building. He was standing in the middle of a hall, with big shelfs on every wall and old, yellowed books inside. He shrugged. Where the hell was he?
He turned his head towards the ceiling. Hundreds and hundreds of hourglasses dropped from it, just held by single, translucent filaments. He could see the sand inside almost hovering down. It would take a long time until one of those hourglasses became empty.
Then his view fell on a bigger hourglass directly above him. It was same dark as the others, with a gloomy light radiating from it. However, the sand was swallowed as if a black hole sucked it in. He frightened. Suddenly he knew that this was his lifetime vanishing.
Slowly he turned around. A dark, skinny figure with blue eyes was standing behind him. Motionless it fixated him.
Then it's glance fell on the device in his hands.
"So you are the one who dares to call his weapon "doombringer"? Ha!"
A scythe was materializing in his hands.
"The only doombringer am I!"
Yeah, it's late.
I'm pretty sure I got ninja'd.
