2.0 doesn't use that resource anymore. That's still a relict from the 1.9-era. Instead, you can try two things: change the background-image or change the bitmaps for the ads (located in the sprite\sys-folder). Also, it would be cool if you could add that grainy effect to the "Press Attack to join"-resource because that plain black in there is a little distracting.
By the way, what is the white circle? A moon? In case it is, it would be better to just grab a moon-picture off google (or even from "Lee On Road") and insert it there instead.

Why not just re-do the screenshot instead of keeping it online in this state? Jesus Christ.
And what do you mean with 'little stars'?

Either way, I'm not a fan of the character selection-menu you've made.
It does look a lot better than those flashy, made-in-paint, I'm-a-newbie graphics people tend to create, but the plain black isn't that appealing either.
Will you be adding a background?
I suggest you add a couple of grid lines around the selection boxes to break up the black visuals.

(Good job on the 'Press Attack to join!' text, by the way)

i couldn't do another because(crap he'll see)... i can't use it at home. so i did it at school and i had to go then... i thought might as well post it. will add in the grids next week. tho i do like it now. you may not but i do. in that case i'll post another and see which one people like more...

Yeah, pure black (as much as I like black) is just bad. Your moon thing just looks weird...I though this was supposed to be based in Singapore? If so, add something related to it. Pure color stuff tend too look bad.

Oh. Well, it's probably to late to change stuff now, but....Singapore has some nice scenery, quite nice for backgrounds. How's the progress? Any char finished yet?

singapore will have 2 bgs, 2 stages. last two. the stage begins in a rainy scenario. they then have to cross the ocean on two different ships, julius is in singapore as he can hide there and no one will know. anyway, how about a anti stun attack for hex? temporarily stop him from being stunned.

You don't really need hex for it.
