That works.
But above you talked about transforming into the hold char. Which can only be achieved by modifying every single char file with a different itrkind8 (ok, i was unclear, it actually is possible in total, but still messy :P)

I can make another ball that'll hit transformed template, leaving him ,for example, 100 hp...
Is it a better idea?

can you add a dvx to the attacking frames so it flies instead of hit?
(version I have here is hard to throw, you press forward and attack very quickly just like the other weapons)

Well if anyone wants to use it quick & easy, all char edit would be needed. They could activate the scrolls by pressing, I don't know, D+J or D+A.
Hey I just got a new idea!
What about turning into stone?
Turning into stone= ball which catches a char and make him invisible (or just moves him down the screen). Then this stone "monument' appears and disappears after 30 seconds.
So, I made wind, fire and ice scroll, but there's still no "earth"... What's your opinion?

Too heavy to be picked up (seeing that it's much larger than the original rock), yet possible to destroy by force. If you could manage to spawn many of those scrolls, it'd be pretty useful to build up a wall :P

Another idea for a simple, but yet effective earth-scroll could be an earthquake.
That is, when used, it summons a field which knocks down all people in it every 3 seconds or so, with the effect lasting 9 sec or the like. It's SFX would be like shaking ground, small stones flying around, fissures etc.

They could activate the scrolls by pressing, I don't know, D+J or D+A. what type is it? i would download it but... i'm not at home. i remember that the knife is relatively easy to throw(i made it similar to the scrolls, it transforms(i should have used opoint but meh...) into a wheel thing). it was for my mod... it replaced the knife but it should work with any id.
