Your very first LF2 steps

My very first project maybe the skin for rudolf (my favorite char when i first played), and i think i still have it now (but it has many bugs), and i didn't know anything abt DC when working on that

My first char when i know something called 'Data Changer' is called 'Frozen Firzen', a modification of original firzen, he looks kind of like blue firzen on the main site, and there is a bug: he creat an ice sword right after shooting the head of his cannon. (sry for my bad English)
I'll try to find if i still have him now, and if i do, i'll upload here.

And my first completed version is the new version of SWU, after i get permission to modify the mod from Sinow, i posted that version in the old 4rum

And now i'm working on a new version^^

i remember back in the days( 2-4 years ago) i used to go to the spritesheet and just invert colours on all the chars. then in the data.txt part (the only thing i knew how o open back then) i used the swap the names around and it would change the moves but i never really knew how. UNTIL
I found LFE! I could actually open those mysterious dat files and found out exactly how they worked. About at the start of the year I tried to make my own character. A ball. A floating ball that splats. I tried to be all professional with it even though i was completly new to DCing and all i did was copy other peoples frames into a new one.

Now I just made a new louis modifided character. Cuz when i went to the downloads section I saw there was only 1 loius mod there. So i decided if I made a good enough one I might be AT THE TOP OF THE LIST!
Halfway through making my loius mod, named Legend(look for him in projects), i went onto youtube and found there was actually a serious called Louis the legend...

Anyway during my creations I was stuck alot. I asked for help on the LFE forums and got it fairly quickly. I found out how to put in attacks and everything. BTW how do you set DA atatck things? (Back to my blabber)I released my first proper character in 2 days.

Anybody wanna know my story. Anybody ask or PM. Because as long as nobody's interested, I'm not gonna work the jar out of my fingers (since obviously I have the longest story of all the members here).

It all started long ago. (Of course.) My brother once came home from school telling me about an awesome fighting game. We looked for it in the internet and then found it. Its name was... (sure you want to go on?)

'kay. That clears the question of the game's name.
What happened then? I loved playing that game, after a while and looking for editors in the internet I found out about Data Changing, the first tutorials I read were on LF Empire. It was pretty new back then.
So I found out about it and became an average Data Changer starting a mod, Great Fighters 2.

Fine, that's about my story. Didn't do much after that, eventually lost interest and stuff.

Now, that sure was longer than 927 words... was it? Wasn't it? What? No? Aww... I really thought it'd reach 10.000 words at least... well, okay, I'll try harder next time.

I was 15 years old when I got a PC for the first time. I searched Google Page by page when I came across LF2. Earlier I played it for a few days and got bored with it. Since I didn't knew how to perform the combos. That time my knowledge for computers was very less. I tried to find how those characters perform special attacks while mine can just punch, run and jump. Then, once I saw LF2 loading it mentioned lf2.net. I downloaded the exe in which all LF2 combos were given and learnt to play it. I got addicted to it.I followed a link on the site going as LF2 Empire(By MH).Since then I started visiting this site regularly and got into the forums. The first ever character I modified was LouisEx by changing all his injuries to 50000. Then I got deeper into DCing (not spriting) and now that I am 19 years old I know pretty lot of stuff about LF2 DCing and Spriting.

i think my complete story would be the longest :P It has just got longer, because now I have met quite a lot of the Chinese board members in person, including Ricky, hocti, nanaya and Kaixa XP

My story is pretty short, and I don't remember much, but here's what I recall:

Once, my friend came to my house and downloaded something on my computer. It was called LF2. Anyway, I enjoyed it very much, and when I went to his house, I saw that he had a modded version. Anyway, I started wondering about these mods, and one day, I tried Wikipedia--and one of the links on the LF2 article pointed to LFE. (soon after, they deleted the article for not being notable)

Anyway, I started downloading mods until I finally got bored of playing LF2 (shocker). A few years later, I rediscovered it on my computer, and that led to me joining the community.
