Just out of interest... why do so many of you lot try and hide your online status when you visit this friendly little forum?

Rather than coming through the main door without a care of the world, why bother to sneak in through the back door despite the surveillance of those big brother spy cameras that the LFE staff has ever so carefully snipped underneath your bed without you realising?

but srsly though, i think its one of those things that if you appear online, you can get swamped with PM's asking you for things or to do stuff (i just broke Marshall's advice )

but yeah, i dont do the whole ninja thing, so im not best to ask. I just wanted to waste both your time, and my time reading and typing this.

I've experienced that when I'm shown publicly, I get slammed by PMs ranging from "heh how do u do dis?" over "heh add me on msn!" and "i think this is a bug. fix it!" up to plain spam.


But now, since I've set my status to invisible, I don't get those messages anymore! It's working like magic! It blocks everything! I've gotten totally happy thanks to "Invisible #1". Test it yourself!


At least it reduced the amount of spamming messages found in my inbox.

Also, phoenixes have gotten rare. I feel like my species will die out soon

^ i actually used the anti-version of silva's method when i got gm. up to now i haven't get slammed.
or maybe if you count a occasional pm-spree from an unknow fox out there.

out of the 982 registered users in LFE, only about 10% or less are active anyways

blocking 90% of 98.2 people (poor 0.2nd person) is still quite a bit of work :/
