TOURNAMENT MOD-- yes or no???

Hey guys, I thought about making a tournament mod which has to be used in tournament fights!

plz vote in the poll, but first read this:

Reasons:

1)Bat is allowed, but the LF2.net-cheat to unlock him is forbidden! :confused:
so: add him to id: 12 and copy the AI from id 38
(I do not understand a number of exe-stuff, so someone else need to do that!)

2) Henry and Rudolf are UNFAIRRRRRR!!!!
So lets take them outa the game!

3) changing the lf2.net to a random number nobody will ever find out

4) changing the slogans to the tournament-rulez!

5) delete template and all sub-chars and Julian

6) delete everything exept vs-mode and quit!
(I do not understand a number of exe-stuff, so someone else need to do that!)

7) Using azzi's blue skin, it owns and is better then the BOOORING normal lf2-skin!
(but change the slogan, therefore i need azzi's agreement!!!)

8) Maybe adding new skins for the chars.....
(But not doing ANY DC-stuff!!!!)

9) delete every BG exept HC-coliseum

10) delete all the weapons and drinks EXEPT FREEZE'S SWORD!!!

why to copy AI if you use him yourself?

will enlarge the version for nothing, everybody can do this hisself...

Well, basically the idea is good to make a version that has everything deleted fitting to the Tournament Rules.
But I kinda disagree with you at some points...

1) Good idea, no problem with that
2) Not a very good idea, it's just... too "censored" just because some people really know how to use them
3) Dunno why you want to do this, I thought it's just not allowed to make use of the lf2.net cheat

Thx for reviews, well i agree with lauli to just delete the drinks!

Also azzi's blue skin owns and the old skins isnt that good for tournament fights---its boring and decreases the game-fun!

We've changed the tournament rules once, who knows if they've to be changed again?
That'd include a newly modified exe...

And if the old exe works, and everybody obeys to the rules, why do we need to make everyone use a certain type? That doesn't go into my head...

I used to think of stuff like this two. How's about a mod that you can use YOUR character in. And what I mean by this is make your own character, install him in a mod, and fight that way? How would that work? Or will it?

This could actually violate the fairness, since if you implement your own character, you could get a huge advantage if your char has some sort of hell-move in there. The other one (to whom you connect) must have your character, too, otherwise there could occur complications. Both must have the same data.txt, and by that also the same dats.

You could still find it out with the ultimate patcher, but it´s against the rules anyways.

And why did you use 2 drinks in our fight?
I would say only delete the drinks.
