It is always an honor to inspire others to improve and learn. I thank you for your kind words there.
I have to give you credit though Lil'Bob, you have greatly improved, in leaps and bounds dare I say. You have seen some of my earlier sprites and I have to say, you developed a heck of a lot faster than I did. I absolutely love how you are stepping out of the box with the sprites that are not being made off a base.
Now on to the critique of your newest creation/others:
Something I have noticed from all your recent personal sprites is the fact that you have usually oversized the torso/upper body area. Your content and shading has greatly improved, but the areas that you need to mainly focus on in my opinion are your proportions which is an area all spriters/artists in general seem to struggle with. My suggestion is to sprite a custom template, something that is yours based off an actually anatomically correct picture. While you don't necessarily need to use it as a base, it is quite helpful to use as reference in your char/sprite creation.
Another point which I think you could easily fix up: It looks to me that your sprites are quite... erm. for lack of better words, 'straight/stiff'. Perhaps you could add a few more curves to your sprites to give them a more fluid look?
On a positive note, I am quite fond of all your sprite designs, you seem to be quite well versed in color usage which is a great plus. Another good quality is the lack of clashing colors. You are really outdoing yourself with each sprite Littlebob. Keep 'em coming, I can't wait to see your future works.

I think he meant that u can sprite more easily based on a template body area so u can correct the flaw in ur standings.
What he meant by the curves is ur sprites are like when u stand glued to a plank and can't move ur muscles. U should propably think of how an actual person stands and make ur sprite more good. If u look at the last pic his legs are far shorter. His legs need to cope with his hands to give that unique feeling of his stand. His head i think needs a complete makeover. In other cases i like ur sprites very much.

most of your newest sprites are detailed but:
-if you have probs with bases try to overdraw existing ones (sometimes your sprites look a bit disproportional)
-like pf said, blur it a bit
btw the hair is awesome (in your ava).
