Question to game speed

Why is my game speed in online fights/stage faster than when i play offline?
I don't get it.

In online game it's FASTER than when i'm playing offline.

when I play against ppl from australia, I get frames skipped which is kinda faster. (inconsistent frame rate).

can only imagine the same, might me that some information bits are lost during game => frame skip => faster game.

Due the FPS limit in LF2, the framerate can't be faster

In online games, it comes from the country, means, is the player far from the another one, then it causes more lag.
vice versa, is he very near (LAN), then almost no lag is coming (maybe no lag, who knows...)

of course the game can be faster when it skipped some frames
