First: Moin, my name is Alblaka, a fan of dragons, fantasy AND (of course) LF ^^
Hope to learn some nice things to improve my LF2 Modding Skills...
Now to the topic of this tread:
TRIO MORTALE
is a nearly finished modification of mine for Little Fighter II (v2.0).
First, i only planned to make 3 characters (therefore the Trio in the name), but now it are 5 and a sixth is coming soon.
But i was never got in drawing anything (besides cubics, no good idea for sprites), so i decided to use the basic sprites of already existing chars.
And of course a few attacks are same like the old chars (from whom i took the sprites from), but mostly they are replaced, modified or entirely remade.
The 5 finished characters are:
ONIMARU - The Samurai [Rudolph's sprites]
- Brawler, high damage attacks
AMAYA - The Dark Wizard [Justin's sprites]
- Supporter, useless if noone protects him
RIM - The Melee Master [David's sprites]
- Balanced fighter, even when he definitely prefers melee
AVIEN - The Elementarist [Freeze's sprites]
- Mage with a big amount of fire, ice and storm basing attacks for every range
KAMIL - The Ranger [Henry's sprites]
- Archer which is even more distance-needing then all other characters
The 6th character will be a melee fighter with some support abilitys, like calling more characters into battle (weak ones of course).
Some more infos to this mod:
-It only uses existing .bmp and .wav files, only .dat files have to be copied (and some changes in the data.txt of course)
-All characters are balanced, even when i concentrated on making them balanced vor PvP and not for Stage Mode, sometimes that affects slightly...
-There are still some bugs with the wpoints, i have to fix that: Sometimes weapons hang somewhere in the air next to the characters.
-Every effect, which moves can trigger is WANTED. Really, in the effects are no bugs, even when it sometimes looks so (for example in Amaya's Hell Curse).
I hope you dl, test and enjoy the mod ^^
If someone has tips or bugreports for me, pls post them here, so i can improve the mod and fix the bugs.
I'm only a beginner, surely there will be some things...
AND if someone offers to draw or alter sprites for the characters, i would be very happy, i really suck at drawing... :/
