Some guys which visited the new LFEv9.0 and read the news may now know that I want to connect the Forums with the mainsite so you guys don't have to register twice but and you can create stuff on mainsite.
Actually this is possible for mybb and joomla, but not for our topsites script. I tried to find a script for joomla but there's only one for joomla 1.0 and joomla 1.5 legacy, but not for 1.5 native ( I switched the site to legacy and tried the plugin and it still didnt work  , so it's hopeless ). Since the topsites are very inactive after months anyways I now have another suggestion to spread the visitors from LFE to other fansites:

as you can see I already started with... well, three sites and no option for users to submit a link. Give me a bit more time to fix this .gif ";)")
What I need is a bit help with categories for the links. official sites are the one thing sure, but what about all the fansites? should I only categorize them by language or anybody has a better idea? no it's not possible to let a site join two categories ( at least not by default, but if you've a genius idea I might search for a plugin ).
I would delete topsites (probably forever) and since the pagehits are counted we still get a rank-system...

and it is good to include LFO and LF2 as different categories.

I'm fine with categories for lf1, lf2, and lfo as long as it says, just for example, "Little Fighter 2 xyz - English". Basically, a link list, sorted by alphabet (or page hits?), and somewhere in the name (preferably at the end) there is appearing the language.

ok since not many guys write stuff here I made the thread a poll. I now set up the basic stuff for the link-archive.
The good thing is that you dont have to sign up again for this if you're registered here (in future). Topsites will ever be seperated from the rest...
so what do you prefer? topsites or the archive?

I say we do a link archive with the same star-ranking-system as the downloads and tuts.
FOLLOW THE RULES!

Rule 2: Think before posting (+10%, 2 weeks)
Spam (posts that contain literally no useful information at all), off-topic discussion, gravedigs (posting in threads that have been inactive for several weeks) or generally senseless posts (posts that are hard or impossible to understand) of any form won't be accepted.
If you want to ask questions, search the Mainsite ( http://www.lf-empire.de) or the forums first to check if your enquiry has been answered elsewhere.
Rule 3: Etiquette (+30%, 2 weeks)
Generally, common sense applies here. Do not offend, harass, curse, show disrespect, or be rude towards anyone. Newcomers shall be treated, like anybody else, with respect.
Additionally, sexual or illegal content (such as pirated software, plagiarisms) are not allowed and will immediately be removed.
Rule 4: No multi-accounting (+40%, 1 month)
You may only have one single account on LFE. Bans will be allotted upon disregard.
Rule 5: Follow posting guidelines (+10%, 2 weeks)
- As LFE offers you to select differently colored themes, submitting posts with excessive color formatting is strongly prohibited as it possibly makes it hard to read them in other themes.
- If you submit an excerpt from .dat-files, use [code=dc]Your code here[/code] for clear presentation.
- Use descriptive titles when posting a thread. “Help” does not tell a whole lot.
- Click the [Solved]-button when a thread of yours has been cleared of your problems.
Rule 6: Follow profile guidelines (+10%, 2 weeks)
- Please keep your signatures under 150 pixels in size, including text. Refrain from using animated pictures as they can take longer to load on some computers. Using sounds or anything which interferes with the forum layout is forbidden.
- Do not upload avatars larger than 100 KB.
Rule 7: No backseat moderating (+10%, 1 week)
If you feel that a person has broken one of the above rules, please use the report-button located under each post. You may write the user a personal message (PM) but do not post in the respective thread to inform about the violation.
