my first sprite ;)

hi, as you probably figured out after reading my title.. this is my first sprite ever ..
a few days ago, after i saw so many awesome sprites, i wanted to make one of my own.. so after watching a few tutorials.. this is the result:

The head and the hairs are really good.
The shirt (?) is a bit weird around the neck. Also the colour is a bit too strong. Mix it with a bit of grey.
The pants are the weirdest things.
The colour and those stripes and all that doesn't fit really well.

The post I posted is really weird aswell. I used "the" in the beginnings of 5 sentences.

2. ye, i was trying to make a collar that stands up (don't know how to say it in english..) So, should I also take darker blue? or another color?

If yes, then it more looks like THAT now.


About the colour, don't make it darker but make it more dim (?)
Colour (#0000CD) → Colour (#1a20ad)

mm.. altough it would be nice if he had a hood.. but i really don't know how to do that .. seems a bit hard

hair looks weird
see the hair at the neck
it looks like it goes down in an line
nobody has so flat hair
but all in all it looks good for your first sprite

Wooty. Sweet sprite dude ! Lauli pretty much answered all the questions that I had in my mind so nothing for me to say.

Anyways , keep working and your first sprite is looking AWESOME!

So I'll say WOOTIE!!!! First sprite and it looks Awesome!!! (same ans my friend zero_legends there)

Btw if u want the collar to stand out you could use a darker colour around the edges and a little different colour on the collar that on the shirt (?)(I honestly think no one understood)

well.. i didn't have a lot of time to work on my sprite this week.. but i just did some little changes, here is new version:



is it good like this? should i make him a char now? (it will take a while, cuz i'll need to learn to dc and stuff first ^^)
